Just tried myself, works for me too, direct download using only whatever means Firefox offers.

I been downloading eve client before but this time it took 5hours before I even was able too start download it before its was showing a error 404 page
its takes forever too download it.
I got 1gb fibre up and down soo something weird is it
I never use third part progr like download managers

Speed wasn't a problem for me, might be some sort of interweb problem between you and the download location?

Same/similar problem. I get:
"
Not Found
The requested URL /EVE_3913a.exe was not found on this server.
"
Asked a friend to see if he can download it, he had no problem (same city, isp), asked another friend in another city and he could not download it.
This the first time i have had this issue btw. Always downloaded the client just fine.

It's actually a problem at the host. There are multiple servers on that address and 2 do NOT have the file:
nslookup:
Name: ccp.vo.llnwd.net
Addresses: 87.248.197.27, 87.248.197.34, 87.248.197.15, 87.248.197.18
87.248.197.22, 87.248.197.25
87.248.197.15 has file
87.248.197.18 has file
87.248.197.22 does NOT have the file
87.248.197.25 does NOT have the file
87.248.197.27 has file
87.248.197.34 has file
Wrangler, you should contact the host/provider.
For everybody who can not download the file: edit C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (it's a text file, open with notepad) and add a line
87.248.197.15 ccp.vo.llnwd.net
Don't forget to remove the line afterwards or you might run into problems in the future!

Nice troubleshooting. Looks like our provider haven't deployed the client to all the mirrors.

The problem has been found, and it's being fixed. Downloading should work again as usual in a few hours, for those who couldn't dowload it.
