Trying to start running Lev-2's with a Minmatar CORP.
I just reached 1.0 with the CORP and thought I would be able to use Lev-2 agents.
But they are all unavailable to me.
My faction standing with Minmatar is -1.60.
But I am under the impression that the Agent availability is based off the highest standings? So I thought the 1.0 would trump the -1.60 ?
I am training Diplomacy now to try to help out my Faction standings.
Do I need to be greater than 1.0 for the Agent? Meaning - run one more mission?
Greatly appreciate any help - tried the forums search but didn't see what I was looking for before I hit my attention span limit. |

If you've *just* reached standing 1.0, relog. Otherwise it might be a rounding issue, the standing's actually something like 0.99995 and is rounding for display. |

Yeah, as Elena Thiesant suggested, do a relog. That usually helps.
Also just to be safe it's a very good idea to do another mission or 2 to help avoid being stopped by Eve's game mechanic of rounding down numbers.
As long as the Faction Standing stays above -2.00 standing, you'll be able to access the higher level agents with Corp Standing.
In the future if Faction Standings start to become a problem, check out 'The Plan'.
Good luck to you.

It is a bit complicated because you have agent standing, faction standing and corporation standing, as far as I can tell if you want to use a higher level agent from the same corporation then it is the corporation standing that matters. An exception to this I think is that a very high faction standing will allow access to higher level agents even for corps that you have never worked for. Someone will probably be able to explain this better than me though.

The higher of corp and faction standings (providing neither are below -2).
If I have 1.0 standings for Gallente Federation (faction) and 3.0 standings for Quafe (corp), I can run level 2 missions for any agent of any corp in the Gallente Federation and level 3 missions for any agent working for Quafe. |

- If you haven't established any standing with a corp, you probably will be limited to lvl 1 agents. Running a single mission will open up all agents that your faction standing grants.
- If you have lower than -2.0 Faction standing, I think you're limited to lvl 1 agents regardless of your Corp standing.
- If you are using R&D agents, you'll need to have both Faction and Corp standings to positive values, depending on agent level.
At least they've simplified agents to not have a supplementary Quality value anymore. |

I think they should change the message from an agent when they say 'Your wayward ways displease me' It sounds like you are losing standing for rejecting that mission when you aren't..
