Dream Five may recall that I warned her in another thread of the perils of becoming too emotionally attached. The OP claims that she understood her overreactions prior to this latest thread, yet I see no proof in her posts that she has learned much at all.
I have seen no proof of the allegations what so ever. Usually there is a digital trail of scams, etc. Yet the posts have offered no logs, conversation snippets, anything; to back your claim that you were ever a permit holder, let alone that one was revoked.
Dream Five postings are still insinuating and/or accusing members of CODE and those who support what CODE is doing of various psychological disorders. The posting seems to be littered with emotionally charged conclusions as well. There is nothing that CODE does that deviates from the norm of EVE online culture, and there is certainly no criminality involved. In fact, it is a sense of ethics that drives CODE to do what they do.
More so, CODE shows a certain amount of empathy for those miners/freighters who are not engaged in Bot-aspirant activities. CODE tends to free systems for people who actually enjoy the activities of mining and hauling from the true anti-social behavior of running 15 miner accounts simultaneously and stripping everything from high-sec systems, with absolutely no human interaction.
Reading the posts of Dream Five however, I see a lot of what can be called a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations. In some of the posts there appears to be an inability to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others. For example, Dream Five seems to care nothing for a miner when he/she logs into EVE to mine for an hour only to find the entire system has been stripped by two people, who interact with no one, running 12 accounts each.
The responses of Dream Five seem to be excessively attuned to reactions of others, but only if the player perceived them as relevant to herself. Antagonism, characterized by grandiosity seems to be a common theme in her posting in fact. Example: calling CODE members and those who support them in any way GÇ£insaneGÇ¥, a legal definition and not a clinical one I might add.
In the most recent posts she seems to have developed a pervasive pattern of cognitive or perceptual distortions and eccentricities of behavior in the form of a slew of baseless allegations against other players and companies; that may be considered by outside observers as suspiciousness, or paranoid ideation.
From what I have seen of Dream FiveGÇÖs forums behavior, and by her own posting I would say NPD with a dash of SPD and projecting it on CODE in a destructive way that is not conducive to the cultural norms of EVE Online.
I would like to thank you for writing one of the most well thought out and constructive posts I have seen in recent times.

Another attempt to redirect from player abuse to player mechanics.
Just because you think i'm upset about loss of spaceships doesn't make it true.
I'm however pretty upset about sociopathic players in this game who tried to get me on voice comms with clear and proven intention to humiliate, debase and enrage.
Anyways I actually wish you luck in your endeavors and genuinely hope that his game will fold ASAP with your help. Just to dissolve this cesspool.
But you are upset -> over a video game; it's easy to see and you shouldn't be comparing players of a video game to having IRL mental disorders simply because you disapprove of their play style. Not to mention damning CCP for not giving in to your demands; hence normal, legal, legitimate game mechanics.
You should have scouted that gate the second time around, you didn't. All the events that took place afterwards are ultimately your fault.
And, I would like to see some proof to these allegations of yours concerning NO members; a screen shot, a chat log, forward me some mail, etc. At the moment you have nothing but claims without any evidence nor proof. In other words you have nothing.

Unlike my posts on many new order complaint threads, I am not trolling here. Dream Five, you have accused us of invalidating a permit for actions that are in no way against the new halaima code of conduct. Accusing the new order of invalidating permits is nothing new, but I have only ever seen one instance of this where the agent was in the wrong. In that instance, the miner's retriever was replaced, as the agent did not check the miner's presence at the keyboard in local prior to the gank operation.
I am not familiar with your situation. I only wish to verify your accusation, which if true, might result in replacement of some of your losses assuming that you were found to be obeying all of the other provisions of the code. At present I sincerely doubt you were doing so.
If you feel uncomfortable speaking about this publicly, send me an eve mail with the following information.
1. When was your permit revoked. 2. What was the name of the agent that originally sold you your permit. 3. What was the name of the agent that revoked the permit. 4. Any chat logs you might have relating to the invalidation of your permit. While not strictly necessary, this would be exceedingly helpful.
Of course your other option is to continue ignoring my posts, and then asking for this thread to be locked like the others. I really hope you won't do that, as I would like to get to the bottom of this.

As a goon you should feel like a regular/typical somethingawful guy I guess? I have no idea. It's not my business to tell you how you should feel. I have no real quarrel with goons, even if they gank all of my freighters, as I don't believe/encountered evidence that they are systematically evil and have bad intentions towards fellow eve players (including the Mittani, notwithstanding his comments). I'd also like to take this opportunity to apologize to him (if he cares, which he shouldn't).
Simply put, I don't believe goons as an organization are systematically after Schadenfreude. Which is what my crusade is about wrt New Order.
I would go out on a limb and suggest that as a New Order member you might consider closely examining your feelings and see if you feel like a prison guard after reading about the Stanford Prison Experiment. |

It is indeed plausible that it was an isolated mistake. I don't have the data to tell that this is a systematic procedure so yes my logic was flawed there. I also didn't lose any ships in connection with that incident.
Permit was bought from loyalanon and revoked by karma balancer probably a couple months ago I don't remember exactly when. |

How should I feel as both a Goon and a member of the New Order, Mr. Five? You say that we Goons are allowed our fun but that the New Order is not.
I don't know if I should check myself into my local space-hospital and get tested for space-sociopathy or not. What is your opinion on the matter? Now you've done it. You just proved that one of my frenemies was right! "The New Order, making goons the good guys since 2012"~ Kalorned Damn you Kalorned!!!!! That's funny. Tbh I have to concede some of the posts on minerbumping made me laugh. Some of it is on the sickening end of laughter but maybe if you kept your stuff a bit more lighthearted you wouldn't be suspect of deliberately enraging the players. I'm beginning to think I could be wrong about the whole thing tbh and you are really just pranksters without evil intentions but simply a sickly sense of humor. In that case you should be more aware of how it affects players. Furthermore I'm not contributing anything positive to the game with this 'campaign' so I guess it was lost before I even started.
So does this mean you're giving up?

Yes. Not worth my energy and too much grey area speculation. Plus nobody cares anyway. |

Thanks soooo much for the response, Dream Five. I've done some serious soul-searching, and I've come to the conclusion that my actions as a New Order agent can only serve to improve the playerbase of this game we all love. The guys that quit are the guys that can't handle a cutthroat PVP sandbox, and anybody that tries to stop us is thus driven to interact with the sandbox more than the bot-aspirants. It's a win-win, you see.
You should come over to our side. I'll show you how it's done.
PS: your character is totally hot. Like a total babe. You should private convo me for some RP some time. |

Wish CODE threads would stay in CaP and not intrude into CAOD.
Then again, this place is pretty much dead anyway.
Edit: I guess seeing as ISD has said they are basically going to let this place do whatever, CODE saw an oppertunity to make ****** threads.
BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.
