Quote:Adding 1 Neurovisual Output Analyzer to Electronic, Engineering and Propulsion subsystems
This means those 3 types will have nearly the same production cost as the offensive/defensive subsystems after Phoebe. This is a big shake in the T3 market and T3 ships/subs will be vastly more expansive!
So happy speculating :p

Increasing the C3-FTM Acid use in Emergent Neurovisual Interface to 310 (+32)
I don't get this and next changes , they seems to be wrong. Isn't ENI using only 5 C3-FTM Acid and not 278 now |

It literally takes 30 sec to check this ingame and no its 278, so those 2 changes increase the C3-FTM Acid BOM by 250%. |

Ok I saw that some Tengu sub-systems were over 30mil, when they were just 15-18 mil just 2 days ago
I thought it was a run on T3s for the upcoming patch, but do you think this is the real reason for the price spike?

You can read my first post?
I obviously failed to properly formulate whats happening after Phoebe, so here is whats happening again.
1) ALL Electronic, Engineering and Propulsion subsystems will have its BOM (Bill of Material) changed to what offensive, defensive is now. So 30mil is still a lot under the NEW price we will see, so grab them if you need them! The new price will be around 40-60m for ALL types of subsystem and race, since there is no significant difference in the BOM or RE cost after Phoebe. Only demand will push caldari subs slightly above the other races or you have your normal weekly supply and demand spikes, depending on the new meta in null.
2) The existing BPC will all changed to the new formula, this means if you build those subsystems now and sell them later for the new price you can make a whoop loot of iskies, depending on the type and time it takes to get rid of your stock.
3) Thats why all subsystems of the changed types are bought out or not sold for the old price anymore.
4) Since T3 producer hold back stock and invest every isk they have in those sub's, the other 2 subs (offensive, defensive) will also be in a shortage, since producer lack the isk to produce them in a sufficient quantity until there stock is converted to isk again.
5) Hulls like noted "only" get 20-30% more expansive, but they also contribute to the current shortage and current stock is also held back or listed at the new price.
So here are the new prices after Phoebe and old stock was sold out, assuming the same demand and increased supply from WH for carbon-86/acid, since you now need 100% and 250% more of these then before.
- T3 hulls: 160-180m
Subs: 40-60m
If WH corps cant supply enough carbon/acid you can add a extra 20-30% on top of all those numbers, until they can supply enough. |

T3 subsystem material requirements are getting balanced to make up for the reduction in effective waste due to random production results.
Since you will be able to build exactly what you want, all those "junk" subs will slowly vanish from the market. Those production resources will be directed into the more popular things.
So, yeah, subs other than off/def will go up in price. Hopefully, off/def subs will drop a bit. Hulls should go up a bit, with a similar effect of rebalancing between less popular hulls and more popular ones, though this should be less noticeable since there is only 4 different hulls, all with good uses.
