As announced here is the Skills Showroom v2.0 :)
After the huge success that was v1.0 (778 characters uploaded), and
with all the community feedback i have released v2.0 bigger, better,
faster :)
(yellow ones are new)
Current Features:
- List of characters by skillpoints
- List of characters by number of lvl5 skills
- Top 10 in a skill category
- Full ordered list in every category
- 2 Different Skill tables/matrices for comparison
- List of ships a char can fly
- List of chars that can fly a ship
- Show missing skills ( color markings: green you have all the pre
requirements and can train right away, yellow you're missing some pre
requirements for it, red are skills not release to the public yet)
- Marking on "freshness" of charsheet
- Many other small features and many to come
- Top number of skills level 0,1,2,3,4,5
- Top number os skills in ranks
- Checkbox to make chars private, only showing totals in each category

FANTASTIC tool. First one was good, this is a massive improvement.
One suggestion...is it possible to count the number of ranks any player has at each level, and arrange them in that order? After all, taking a rank 8 skill to level 5 is more of an accomplishment than taking a rank 1 skill to level 5. This would look like the "Top Skills in Levels" but instead of just counting the number of skills, count the ranks of each skill...so a rank 5 skill would count 5, instead of just one.
In addition, would it be possible to display the rank of each skill on the individual character sheet?
I know others have asked for this before - but please don't let this little request detract in any way from what is an awesome tool.

Very cool...nice additions...stellar effort Sara  
I do think that people will still want to be able to get to the full list for total skillpoints (as was shown on version 1), total skills, maybe the skill categories also. It would be cool if you could click on the top 10 category heading and drill down to the complete list so people could see where they stand, who's in front of 'em and who's on their tail, in any of the top 10 categories that are currently shown. For example, I could click on the "Gunnery" heading, then scroll down to the bottom of the list to find my name

You can already do that,just click on the Icon for each top 10 category...

you can tryu it yourself ..
just upload as pirvate and check it out .. to make them public just upload again

For me it only starts to upload it then the browser says finished but the page don't refresh. Tried in both firefox and explorer.

But I think the evemon xml is "different" from the xml from the one you can dl from the eve-online char page, and thus dont work.

Nice upgarde from the first version. 
One small error: On the "sort names alpabetically" list, hitting M brings you to the N sortings.

Another suggestion...how about a "compare" function...select two or three (or however many sensibly fit on a single screen width) characters and list the skills side by side...?

Something fishy with 0mega. Linkage. Note the complete lack of Rank 1, 2, 3, & 4 skills, and the fact that he has more rank 5 skills than are possible.

yup, cept that if you upload as private, you are still listed in the matrix along with what skill you have at what level, so not completely private though

Would be funny.
Would need to include titans and faction ships too though imho...

Minor bug report: The Obelisk freighter is listed in the Minmatar column on the ships page. Should be Gallente.
Would it be possible to change those ship icons to links into the Item Database. I found some ships I didn't know I could fly and it would be nice to be able to quickly get some more information on them

You might wanna check CB Cyrix aswell, he started a year after release but with 57mil SP I flown with him in my Xetic days. He is just trying too get some status. He has like half of the SP shown there.

Nifty tool. I uploaded myself as well. Question though--with the recent bogus characters, I guess you're going to need some sort of XML "verifier", or there will be characters with bogus data all over the place....too many losers modifying the .XML data...
Also, is there a way to DELETE your character once uploaded? In case I get into a war or something? Maybe I overlooked it.

I mean, CCP should make an official page on the EVE site, and there's a checkbox in your "My Character" screen on whether you want your character stats publicized or not. I'm not talking about downloading/uploading anything :)

Suggestions:
- add a pulple color, red would be for skill not yet released but that you have the pre requirements (if available) and purple for skills not yet released and that you don't have these pre requirements
- add a "Last Updated" time and date for all chars, so when looking at them, we could know how old that info is
- add the attributes for the chars when we look at their personal stats, with an option to hide them for those that don't want to show them

Nice tool, but i have two questions.
1. When you upload the xml file to the site, then you can look on the Ship List, and does that list shows what kind of ships i have had or what ship i have?
2. Well i'm not sure on how this is working, but shouldn't it be cool to have faction ships showed under Ship List. Also i have a Machariel, and if the Ship List shows what kind of ships you have had or have, then i would like to have my Machariel under that list. Or isn't that showed because of security reason?

Great tool looks nice and wroks quite well.
Missing: Rank 5 & 11 skills in the: Top x rank skills.
I would love to see something like this added to the options: Linky (the popup on mouse over is what I mean leaving out the sp/hour calculations maybe  )

I don't believe there are any rank 11 skills in the game.
And, although the number 5 is not included in the list Top Skills in Ranks, the number '6' jumps to a page listing the rank 5 skills.
There is a missing " in the link for rank 5 that is messing the url up.

i havent forgotten about all of you :) but i have been busy with alot of projects, havent gotten arround to making the new version, but it's a promise.
Due to the bad performance of ccp's char image server, i made a change and i'm now caching everyones pic for faster display.

Suggestion: on the "Ships & Pilots" page, would it be possible to show the number of pilots for a given ship by the ship's icon? It would give a very quick indication of the most commonly flown and (perhaps more interestingly) least-commonly flown ships in EVE.

- allow a setting of a password ingame to be used in authentication in the out of game site
- with login allow person to list all the members of his corporation, not shown to everyone to make it harder to find all the members of a corp for security reasons.
- add extra security to upload and setting private, ability to set skill upload only if authenticated
keep them comming :)

It's odd that the top 3 players listed under total skill points in LEARNING have more skill points in that category than it is possible to get.

There was a bug a while back that skills continued to
acumulate/train skillpoints after reaching lvl5 this bug has now been fixed for a long time, but people who where afected still have the extra skillpoints past lvl5 (doesnt make any
change in gameplay).
