Containers we can lock in our holds. Set your price. I will pay to spite the gate campers.
- 2000m3 (pretty much no ships can fit in it)
- When the ship goes it has a chance to go like any item with all the contents.
- Otherwise it floats and can be shot or unlocked.
- Hacking takes time.
- Shoot endangers the contents.
So, if they have the time, all the items might be theirs. I will pay for the chance that they all *poof*.

Or just an item/module that self destructs 100% of the cargo when you die. Much better. More tears including from your corp mates who manage to bump the gankers freighter away before it scoops and now can't recover any loot. |

Your idea sounds a little over kill, but I like the concept. I would add a nice new twist for the gankers who are looking for a challenge.

If corp mates defend the loot they can unlock the container.

I'd rather see a low slot module that allows you to simply detonate everything in your ship's hold(s).

I agree. Self destruct containers would be cool. Gotta hack em to loot em. Capacity penalty instead of bonus. If you SD your ship itself, container timer starts. Container timer keeps going even if ship is destroyed. If blown up without initiating SD, works like normal locked container in space.T2 containers naturally. |

Not quite sure how the flags would work but potentially that is an awesome idea.

It would be fun to be able to fill your cargohold full of self-destruct bombs and have a trigger module you could activate to set them all off. It would destroy your cargo, your ship and do damage in a radius like a smartbomb.
Haulers would have one or two to blow up their cargo if they get tackled. They could also be a new tool for suicide gankers by filling an industrial full of them.
Or some insane fool shoving thousands of them into a freighter? |

As much as I agree with this. Throw more gamble into a camp, it flies in the face of CCP's unwritten rule of "serve up victims on a silver platter" design.

This.
- Low slot module - 1 CPU and 1 Powergrid requirement (so it can fit on freighters) - Reuse the Doomsday Device icon - Can be instantly activated at any time, including when ship in in structure - Makes a titan-sized "make you eyes bleed from the prettiness" kaboom - Leaves behind no wreck to loot or salvage - ...but has the side effect of also instantly killing the pod.
I'm as carebear as they come. But even I don't think there should be any artificial constraints on the ability to make ships go boom in highsec. Weapons should ALWAYS fire and they should ALWAYS do some damage on the other end. Anything less would turn Eve into WoW-in-Space. But there should be a way for victims to reduce the financial self-sustainability of industrial scale ganking (other than just flying with less cargo or heavy bulkheads).
I'd rather blow everything up than let those goat f***ers have it. |

What about some secure container bounded to your name so just you can open it freely. If anyone other try to open it,it consume some tag(mediocre expensive)
So when they kill you, container will stay and float.Wiill they sell it back to you? Will they open it for XXX isk to see what inside? Is it worth to sell back to you or better to market?Or is it empty and I just lose the expensive tag because it was just bait to lose pirates money? |

Foxicity wrote:How about a biometrically locked container that can only be opened by you or your corpse Now you're thinking. If these biometric containers were the common standard then there would be an interesting dynamic involving:
- Finding the containers (more stuff for Cov Op frigs), spying and gathering intel
- locating their owners or
- obtaining their corpses, through trade/auctions, ninja looting or podding
Thing is though there is no convincing reason to store your assets in such containers because of how much risk it poses. |

I like the self-destructible container better than the "blow up all your cargo" low-slot mod (because I'd rather fit tank).
Of course, self-destruct has a timer (10s?) and, once initiated, cannot be cancelled. So once you trigger it, your cargo is gone even if you eventually survive in 1% structure. That could make for some nice jokes in highsec: bumping you... landing Catalysts... firing at you... nah, only one Cata fired, was just joking. Oh, did you lose any cargo? |

Surprised to see life breathed back into this thread.
I think, we do need a reasonable possibility of pirates getting something and of our friends being able to retrieve something. So, 100% destruction would destroy a part of EVE's game play. I just want to be able to pay for something to spite the campers. An extra step I have to take to make their lives a little more miserable or to sour the grapes.
