In Exile. is a dedicated Amarr Factional Warfare corporation that operates mostly in low sec.
Factional Warfare can mean many different things. For some, it means getting involved in system occupancy, and for others it means having a list of ready-made reds that you can shoot anywhere. Some people join FW simply to farm the missions and take advantage of the insane bonus LP you get when your faction is in a higher tier.
For us, FactionWarfare is about flying with fun, laid back people and shooting the Minmatar / Gallente Militia and sometimes fighting over systems.
Many of our pilots are 'pirate'-I use that term loosely, because everyone seems to have a different definition of what it means. To us, it means that we shoot anything not blue. Usually we do not require our members to shoot neutrals- unless the FC calls for it, but be aware, it happens quite frequently.
We are a close knit group for the most part. We enjoy each other's company and will often play other games together too. Though we are a small corp, we usually have people on at most hours. The majority of the corp is US time based, however, we do have pilots on at euro & aussie hours. Also, our alliance has a few corps that are predominantly Euro. And, we have corps in the militia to fleet with. So basically you should always have someone to fly with.
We mostly base out of Egghelende, a 0.4, non Faction Warfare system. In FW, if your faction doesn't currently occupy the system, you cannot dock there. Egghelende is one jump from our war zone, and has a high-sec exit as well.
Our requirements are simple, really. We expect our pilots to be self sufficient, which is easy enough to do in FW. Low skill-points are okay, as are alts, if you're just wanting to try out FW. Always better to do so in a corporation, I think.
We want people who are: *fun * laid back * and not afraid to welp or lose ships.
Attitude is more important than being able to fly all the things. Oh, and we have a couple of females in corp, so you must be non-douchey around girls.
We offer TS, free logistics into our lowsec station, and a lot of fun! Oh, and explosions. Lots of those. We do corp contests with cool prizes. And most importantly, we know that real life comes first. The beauty of being in FW vs a null sec corp is that there are no CTAs. No one is going to demand you be on at a certain time to shoot a thing that doesn't move, for hours upon hours. It's just not our thing.
We fly a variety of ships within FW, though it tends to be on the smaller side of things. Lots of frig, AF, dessie, and cruiser action.
Also, we are a media-esque kind of corp & alliance. We twitter. We blog.
Oh, and a couple of us do that dirty little thing called roleplay. It is more amusing than ship spinning. Not a requirement though!
