This is a good thing. Legion development on first person shooter for PC, and Valkyrie development for Rift -hopefully- means some bleed through to EVE in the future.

I really hope 2015 doesn't bring another DK. release it already, etc.

I can't believe HDMI is still around. Fortunate for the Rift, that there's such availability of parts.
Karuck you're speaking my language! If people stopped to look at HDMI's limitations, they'd be shocked.

Hey Karuck, myself and Commissar Kate got our hands on DK2s just for this, I hope you can appreciate the irl $ commitment we made on a blind hope.
I guess I'm posting this here to help our chances a bit, having shelled out the $.
Kate and I are different types of gamers, with different gaming preferences. If you had to pick between the two of us, you should pick Kate because of their extensive history of playing flight games. As for myself, I was a flight student in a past life and of course there's the not-so-small EVE affliction of mine.
I also want to let you know that my DK2 doesn't have a serial in the location described in the follow-up survey. Not sure how much of a disqualifier that is, but it can't be helped when there's no sticker (I bought mine second-hand from a classmate in my Maya class).

Karuck, this is a visual representation of the dogfighting dilemma I mentioned previously, and why the best maneuver in a chasing situation is an opposite roll.
The white cone is the defending ship's vulnerability area. The red circle is where the attacking ship wants to be.
In this example, I'm turning and trading speed for maneuverability, and swinging my cone way out and away from Kate as much as possible. To give chase to that cone, Kate would roll outward and have a wider arc, which allows her to maintain more of her speed in exchange for less maneuverability.
The goal of chasing this way isn't to always have a constant firing angle, but to be in the best position for when I straighten out from my roll.. There's no real alternative in atmospheric flight, since rolling inward and chasing the ship directly would cause overshoot.
In my opinion, this scenario expresses balance between ships in terms of speed, maneuverability, and gun range. Sure, this is atmospheric flight, but it's a starting point in exploring Valkyrie.
You should pick us both.
PS: this is the type of visual feedback you can expect from us.

The thought has also occurred to me that I should keep my insight to myself, so that I can realize my goal of being Valkyrie's greatest ace...........................................................
no, really though.
