So I happen to like the smaller class ships and it is also where most of my skill points are allocated.
Am I correct in guessing that a 2-5 group of frigates/support can easily take on C2-C3 Wolf-Rayet WH space combat sites?
Is it doable solo? According to the FAQ sticky, a 300-400 DPS tank is required for a C2. How much of that requirement can be taken off thanks to sig radius and tracking?
Thanks for the responses.
P.S - Would love someone living in a C1-C3 W-R to log into SiSi and letting me in for test purposes. According to the Test Server Rules I cannot offer an ISK reward, so, you'll be paid in gratitude <3. |

SiSi testing is a nice idea, but login yourself in your WH and see what you're capable of doing ;)
Trinket posted a pretty spiffy thread not too long back about the effectiveness of Enyos + Logi in lower class anoms. I suggest you seek it out.
You can count on your sig saving you from the Sleepers' Ex/Kin damage as the missiles will do SFA as long as you have some velocity.
Em/Th however is far more dependent on your pilots' skill - if you're sitting at a dead stop ripping them apart with your blasters they'll be bending you right back over with their lasers. |

You can solo them in a frigate. A t2 frigate but a frigate none the less. There are 5 things you have to consider.
Active repair, cap stability, speed, range of weapons, and whether you will salvage or not. Assume worst case senario, the sleepers spawn 70 Au away. An afterburner will suck. Consider range of your guns, because burning into them will be troublesome, consider your repair method, because bad transversal may cause you to die.
Is it ISk efficient, no.
Is it fun, hell yea.
Used a ishkur but any of them should do.

DAAAAAMN. Corbexx, you might wanna get them to look at a rebalance. Which site is that?

I am not logged inside a WH in any of my characters in SiSi :(((, will look for Trinket's post. Ty
@Phoenix
I am guessing the distance of sleepers spawn might prove to be the main "problem", not because of the ship speed, but for the manual piloting required to keep transveral after you've been running sites for a while. |

C1's are doable in frigates regardless of the effect. C2's it certainly helps to have a W-R effect and an AF. I've done it in jags, ishkurs, Vengeances (slooow) and Retributions. Could use an ASB Hawk, too, but I'm not much of a Hawk pilot. The Sleepless Outguard takes...forever...and ever. It's not really time efficient soloing them.
Never done a C3 in an AF, but it's likely doable in a W-R, as Phoenix Jones says. 4 webbing frigs might be a bit of a PITA though.

You don't need a lot of transversal. Your sig is small enough and your speed high enough to midigate enough damage. Note that when I did this, I used both an active rep shield ship, and a active rep armor ship. Both had a faction repper.
Webs is the real danger.
