Haha, nice one
But seriously, I see tons of awsome things that this ship will be able to do. I think it will be amazing and I'm really excited to see it fly around! |

Now hopefully they'll add a little 8-ball stick shift for changing modes. "Getting redboxed - downshifting to defensive" lol

I thought that what something is reprocessed into wasn't necessarily what it takes to make it though? For example, I thought for T2 ships you need moon mats and stuff but it'd still only reprocess down to basic minerals. |

Here it is, the Big Bertha of the ships that still score as small oO 50% heavier than even a coercer. Might compensate with that higher agility and basespeed to get some lower AB/MWD-speeds than a coercer.
So in defensive mode you'd have kinda T1 resist-mini HACs with insane dps in scramrange and still fair velocity with an AB even plated. Also some 40m sigrad. And in snipermode, those things can lock and hit out to 70km easily with over 200dps. So kinda like Beamretributions, but better on the offense and very crappy on the defense. Sounds supermenacing to both Enyo- and Talwarfleets. The speedmode strikes me as less intriguing I have to say. I mean this is apparently the mode to get to the fight, where you then go for brawling or sniping depending on what you're set up for.
Now it sounds like one mode to get to the fight and then you'll always switch into the mode you're fitted for (snipe/brawl), but still very intriguing numbers :V
Actually, 600 turret dps at 70k, 1050 at 20k per pilot in a shattered wormhole, would use for carebearing, that for sure.

Dunno about the requirements to fly and the bill of materials. Can't believe that a T3 ship has the material cost of a T1 ship and less skill requirements than it's T2 counterpart.

I'm a bit meh. My hair is naturally straight, and the stats are OK, but not amazeballs outside of a C6 W-R. But anything with small guns is amazeballs in a C6 W-R, lets be honest. Will these cost an arm, a leg and your first-born son for a month after they drop? Yes. Will I be buying them during this time? Nope.
I think they key will be the speed with which you can change modes. In kite mode these will be a wet leaf competitor to Talwars as a kitey snipey ship. Lets be honest, LML kiting wins over small gun kiting. Alpa Cormy's will be a better choice than these for sniping, let's be frank. Mostly because a sniper Cormy gets the range without breaking a sweat, for 17-22M ISK.
5 Lowslots is great - you can pack more deadspace ANP's in to the lows to get stonking resists to go with the 400mm plate that will, 99% sure, gimp your fit so badly you can't even snipe anyway, or brawl, or anything. That'll be a great fillip.
Tank mode will let you take a bunch of these through a frig hole, latch on to some hapless Drake, and then curse as your frig logi gets blapped because frig logi suck balls, always have, always will. So nothing much different there versus bringing a Coercer and dying similarly anyway. (or, let's be honest, just bring a Devoter for 300M ISK downpayment, it'll get more DPS, 10% the tank, and guaranteed pod goo).

Hurr, um, any T2 cruiser takes more skills to train than a T3. Logi requires a boatload of level 5 skills, and a Tengu requires Caldari Cruiser 5, and 6 skills at level 1 (1.5 hours totes). |

A view of the future
That is apparently in Defensive mode. 13K EHP in the fitting window, 246 DPS. 1100m/s. Outside of Defensive mode, I would think it would be 6K EHP.
This is marginally better than my hull tanked Dragoon which gets 10K EHP, 200 DPS and a little more bloaty sig. The hull tanked Dragoon is still woeful against AF's, I'd argue, though the Confessor will do better if getting RR because of resists being higher.
Pity there's no really decent frigate sized logi!
I reckon I would pay 80-120M for the hull of a T3 Dessie with those stats. It's not stellar, like the difference between a Thorax, Deimos and Proteus progresses up the tech levels. You'll still die in 10-20 seconds to an Enyo in a W-R.
Thumbs up CCP. You're on the right track.

Looks cheap price wise.
Only requires 2 melted nanoribbons.
This is really going to increase the cost and worth of lower end gas and the crap salvage parts...
I suspect this will be more than 40 million (probably 80 million).
