Lol yes. 23.5/7 wormholer against your ridiculous idea is clearly a mandate for ccp to address griefing. I wasn't certain about hiding all of your posts but I think I can safely do that now secure in the knowledge that I won't be missing anything of value.

I also note you are in Isogen 5, so I don't really take what you say seriously. Everyone I have dealt with from there seems to like to troll. Good day to you.

It is probably the strongest indicator that it should be implemented Because that's different from the alt in an old school alpha clone I had how.......? Oh yeah, it's not. Difference being: "Hey guys, hang on a sec, I will just dock up, move homes and check ahead for us. Oh I died. Well look at this kill mail. Yup, no problem we can handle them. Let me just hop in my ship now." Any pod can do it now.

Instant lock, popped interceptor. 20M or so down. At least it cost the enemy something then.

Either grey skills and nullified pods or we could just give them some decent speed, say 1000 m/s so they have a chance of getting out of bubbles.

No, that is an opinion.
Personally, not having to pay 30 million after each podding has been incredibly freeing in regards to going out and flying silly ships that I expect to diaf, or deathcloning to my PvP base in time for a PvP op.
In that the goal was to help get people out PvPing who would have not done so otherwise due to not wanting to shell out for expensive clones, the change was an absolute success.
Random, arbitrary temp losses of skills is an addition that would not promote good gameplay. The only possible outcomes are A: Not PvPing to avoid the temp loss B: Getting podded, but ignoring the temp skill loss because you don't need that skill for anything. C: Getting podded, and closing EVE or being unable to play normally because it hit an important skill.
Do you see any meaningful choice there? Any strategic choice? Any incentive to do anything?
Eve doesn't need completely unnecessary disincentives to get out of station and play the game. |

- This is going to become like any FPS - die, run in, kill a few, die, repeat. Very boring, very quickly with unsatisfactory and meaningless deaths and kills.
Throw in some skill that reduces the time penalty and maybe a slot 10 hardware that has soothing music to prepare you for the trauma. The essential reason why there is a clamour for a replacement remains. Uhhhh no. The game will not suddenly be broken because of this improvement. Besides, derping can be a lot of fun, especially when you are consistently outnumbered and you need to widdle down your opponent.
This is some Alice in Wonderland logic going on.
How will the smaller group prevent the same thing happening to them?
The only thing this idea would accomplish would be to limit pvp. |

I'm not sure what the topic of discussion is on now but as far as training freeze and/or concussion after podding I am rather against this. New members would probably quit EVE after their first podding. Getting podded with implants is tragic as you just lost your ship now you implants, and oh by the way, you can't train any skills for the the next 24 hours. Would this penalty stack with multiple poddings within that 24h period? Wardecs in highsec would become "SIMS in space stations!" Noone would ever undock. |

Also this could be exploited by wardecs to the extent of preventing someone or an entire corp from playing the game. Not just out of fear but out of preventing them from training. Undock and blap, you can't train for 24h. Don't undock and just sit in station for a week or until the dec is over. |
