Hello,
So as a part of my RPG side of the game I have moved to a different end of the EVE cluster - From Gallente space to Caldari. My standing to the Gallente Federation Navy is >7. What that means is that my standing towards State Navy is -4.0 - thus the problem.
I want to raise my standing towards State Navy, but I can only do lv 1 missions. For the past 3 days I have been missioning but the standing did not increase at all. How can I raise it? Are there any specific missions that can help me do it faster? How to dig myself up from this pit?
Regards, Quetz

Faction standing is hard to recover. First stop is skills to improve it (connections and diplomacy I think). Then do the career missions in the noobie area. After that every 16 missions you do of tge same level you get a storyline mission worth some faction standing. There are other options too: epic arcs and the like but I can't speak to them.
You should avoid missions that force you to kill faction npcs like the plague if you want to keep ok standings. You will lose anyway but not as bad. I am not allowed to think about entering gallente space my standings are so low. |

Sigh, I wish they would just sticky this already, it has to be the most asked question at least as far as PVE goes.

it would probably be faster to run missions with a caldari ally (Amarr would be a good choice), as high level story lines give much greater standings increases.
I run all the Enemies abound that I can, all I have to do is run a few SoE missions and it keeps my gallente/minmatar standings alright.

Several of the once only Caldari datacentre missions are with caldari navy:
Caldari Data Centres
Just buy the tags beforehand go to the system and talk to the agent.
Note NEVER talk to a datacentre agent unless you already have the tags in your hold. |

and of course in addition to the data center agents try the career agents (I got a 1.8% boost), and don't forget the SoE Epic arc. Personally I cba to fly around in a frig for that long when I can be blitzing lv4 missions and getting 10%+ standings changes for a friendly combat storyline mission.
and how could I forget "The Plan" Wiki page: https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Faction_Standing_Repair_Plan Forum thread: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=10212

Thank you so much guys. At least now I have somewhere to start from. I did not know about he ally missions and their benefits - thanks for that too. I'll get to it right away.

It can be fun to run it in different ships like say a Venture or even a battle Nereus. Though TBH I recently just take a passive tanked Vexor with Garde and Gecko for sheer AFK lazy easy mode. (the passive tanked Vexor really surprised me it tanks almost as much DPS as some BS) |

Don't forget, if your Caldari-standing is higher than -5, you can still go to any Caldari corporation and raise corporation standing there. Getting a corp up and running some level 3-4 missions there should go faster than just using allies. |

Carier missions are very good and easy way to raise the standing. I am surprised :) Already raised by almost 1. And only 3 more to go till 0.0 standing.
Not as bad as I thought, not at all.

What it means is that you probably didn't train diplomacy (you can do it now), and that you accepted faction kill missions.
My adjusted stats on my main are: 7.87 Gallente (used to be much higher) 5.96 Minmatar Republic 3.19 Amarr Emprie 0.34 Caldari State
Don't accept faction kill missions. Do missions for an Amarr faction, or the SOE epic arc.

Had -4 standing - nobody shot at me.

It may be mentioned elsewhere in the "Plan" links, but taking a few days to run the Sisters of EVE L1 Epic Arc will give you a nice bump in standings towards the empire faction of your choice, with no standing loss to any of the other empires. (For me, that alone brought me up a full point in standings.)
