Following up on my earlier post - systems that have recently had a wormhole to Thera do not contain unidentified structures in. However Yarebap did have one next door. We'd need to expand the sample size to find any correlation. |

I do admit my theory is vague and rather hard to verify, but it's as good as any other so far.
What do stargates and ships have in common, btw?
When sleepers scan gates, what are they looking for, that can be foundd in ships as well?
I guess I should read through this thread properly... |

The systems in which I've seen these structures have only had 1 or 2 sleepers. But Malina Seraki's pics show 5. The increase in number is interesting.
I'm wondering if they are gathering materials to build more Circadian Sleepers. And each time the structure goes away, it is building a new sleeper. Or something like that.
This leads me to wonder what happens once it reaches a certain count? And can the count be reset or reduced?

Testable by bookmarking the exact position and trying to bump into something when it's "gone".
Sorry if this was tested already, haven't read through the whole thread yet.
An increased number could mean that they are successfull in finding what they are looking for and need more cargospace, or it could mean that they are getting kind of desperate. Another idea could be that so many of them are being shot down, that they need "backup" to do their job.
Just my thoughts. |

I still think it's not many structures popping up and being cloaked but one structure being projected throughout the cluster. The Sleepers are out researching the appearances and study the effects of it on the surrounding system. Would not surprise me if it were actually the leftover in the heart of the star that went poof the last few weeks.

An explorer posted images of Sansha and Sleeper structures from inside the new Wormholes that have been discovered after the Caroline's Nova incident the other week. One of the recorded objects discovered was noted to be a cloak projector, damaged - perhaps this has some kind of connection? |

Huh. I missed the "damaged cloak projector" find.
Sounds neat.

I mean ok great, they were cloaked. Lovely. We sorta knew that the event was linked to damaging previously undetectable cloaking devices. But we've tried everything to interact with well...everything. We still got nothin. vOv

Eh, it'll get revealed sooner or later....or Greyscale was behind the whole thing and the whatever has now been cancelled.
Weren't these things originally labeled "Christmas" in the files?

They were labeled Jovian Outpost or some **** and got edited real quick. Either way, call me when something interesting happens.

In case this hasn't been reported before, I just witnessed them scanning a Zephyr (the special scanning ship that Sleep drones don't target.) At the same time I saw them scanning untargetable station guns.
Probably more significant from a coding perspective than lore.
I've heard reports of them causing damage to structures, but after sporadically watching them for a few days, I haven't seen anything they've scanned showing any such effect. |

Anyone else notice how they have a sort of eyeball that pops out every now and then? http://i.imgur.com/GXOutei.png
Also, this is a screenshot from the apocrypha trailer http://i.imgur.com/VtarVQf.png
Those are the systems were Seyllin-like events happened however not all of them resulted in a shattered planet, some being only reduced to a lava planet. What I found interesting was that a high percentage of these systems contained or were fairly close to ice.
So has anyone seen these sleepers act any differently in A) ice systems B) in the ice ielts of ice systems C) at suns D) at suns of ice systems
I say suns because Isogen-5 is said to be collected from a star.
Also if any of the above overlap with rogue drone systems that'd be interesting...

Iso-5 is found only in A0 type suns. Suns messed with by the Sey event were type O1's that were turned into type A0's somehow.

Anyone remember reflection of pyramid shaped object on the middle eyeball from these scaning sleepers?
Image was posted on Eve Online Now before Rhea me thinks.
It looked like Ra spaceship (pyramid shape) if my memory serves me right. If you watched film Stargate you will know.
Now I am on mobile so cant link anything, but if that reflection does look like posted above, then these cloaky structures are just infostorage for sleeper scanners and they are searching for that "ship" or whatever it was hinted to us in that Eve Online Now picture.
Or maybe not...speculations.
I will post the pic later. |

Sleeper with pyramid reflections
it's not a reflection, that's an effect constantly going around those 4 outer ones like a radar sweep and looks similar to the effect seen on the objects they scan while they're scanning them.

Maybe they are preparing for a galactic realignment
The structures will move the position of systems as such so that the empires will become disjointed and separate
They are no scanning the stargates, but rather programming them for new connections when the realignment occurs |
