Hello explorers,
The final exploration site in this Sleeper cache trio is the Superior Sleeper Cache. Like it's previous accomplices, it offers a different and much more difficult challenge than you may normally expect to find from an exploration site.
It's running on Singularity right now, so we ask you to please provide feedback and report any issues you find when playing through this site.
The Superior Sleeper Cache has quite a few areas, filled with some puzzles and challenges of increasing difficulty. Reading the descriptions found on the objects in space will be critical to understanding what they do and the consequences of hacking them.
A warning though, the consequences for failure can be quite high. Only explorers confident in their tank should consider the site (for Singularity, I know it doesn't matter so much), or perhaps bring a friend or two. Of course there are much more valuables to be found in this site than the Standard or Limited sites.
I mentioned that the Standard Sleeper Cache was the most difficult to scan site in EVE, it has now been dethroned by the Superior Sleeper Cache.
Sites can be found at these locations: (Updated 11/12)

Trying one now. Stream of consciousness, engaged!
First thing: Virtued Stratios with a scanning rig, Sisters gear, and 5/4/4 skills. .5 AU has it at 55%. I suspect that without implants, you'd need a max-skilled T3 and a lot of luck. 159.7 probe strength.
Entry looks familiar; cloaky stuff with sparky, arc-y cloaks.
First room is a hacking puzzle, but pretty low-key; you're reducing DPS from a cloud effect around some cans.
Second room is a DPS/hacking puzzle; you are supposed to suborn one of the sentries, and also set another facility to repair it. I'm still very confused as to why 16 sentries in an extended cloud appeared while I was hacking the repair buoy, though; there wasn't any prompt in local, and I hadn't failed any hacks to that point. Needless to say, my plated Stratios was destroyed.

The 16 sentries in the second room are the "full-alarm" sentries, in the current version on Sisi they're a bit too aggressive in showing up. Should be a better experience in tomorrow's build. |

Active tanked tengu was alphaed by an invisible cloud in the second room with the agressive sentries. Had to overheat a bit, but tanking the sentries wasn't a major issue. The explosion however, was in my opinion far too powerfull to alpha through a T3 (it had a bit of a buffer).
The way I see it right now, either the damage is reduced if you pull range from the explosive plasma eggs, in that case I will try that again next time, or else you need a ship with very good active tank AND very good buffer. A thing only achievable through a passive tanked tengu. Which is a bit too selective for a site, even a hard one.

Just done one in EBODOLD. In the first room I do like the big amount of guns, though the explosion seems to be too hard (took something like 140 000 damage)
2nd devasted room, libraly archive, is ok. I guess it is a dead end with no hidden staff 3rd room (solar plant) is either hidding something, or just does not make sence. 3 warp gates, all 2 work for the inpocket warping and 3rd one leads back too 1st room.Either I am doing something wrong, or this room is boring, not dangerous, and not leading to the 4th room (i wonder if 4rth room exists)
edit. solved my fkup in the solar plant, i wonder if i can retreat the disk somehow and put it the right way? |

I was actually testing the damage of the full blast earlier today, was in an active-tanked Nestor. I survived, with 1% structure
There is actually a way to mitigate the damage from the Plasma explosion blast in the room, if you don't want to take your chances. |

I upped the danger factor a bit in the solar plant room today, but it probably needs a bit more tweaking.

Oh, right. But at this point I had already used that structure... oh, maybe you can hack it again to get the protective cloud again, can you?
If not, I need to point out that no show info was giving me the information that I'd need to generate kinetic energy to activate one of the structures. Thus, I assumed that the protective cloud was there to help tank the sentries for the first minut while they were being destroyed.
So my suggestion would be, if you want to leave things as they are, and if the protective cloud structure cannot be used multiple times over, indicate in the show info of the center structure, that it will need to be powered up by an explosion or something. So that at least we have some clue instead of no clue :)

CCP SoniClover, in solar plant room - DO we get gate to another still unknow room? I had done 2 sites today, and did not understand the point of all these acceleration gates in that room... They all just warp around the room or to the first centry room. Checked all structures, followed all hints, did put gamma disc into the thingy requiring one. still no use. |

Well, their purpose was mainly to allow you to move around the room faster if you were slow-boating it in a large ship, but that concept was conceived when the idea was not to allow MWDs in the room. So with them allowed, the in-room gates have less of a purpose. I'll look into spicing it up a bit. |

Heh, that complex brings back memories, I made the Labyrinth back in the days The Solar Plant room was not intended to be that convulated, but I guess there's room for a bit more hidden stuff in there. |

Plunk it all into EFT, and show info on the charge (probes). Absolute max is about 205 strength in a tengu. |

So i did the site in Saidusairos. I was able to scan the site down with level 5 skills T2 probe launcher and Sisters Probes no implants, rigs, or scanning modules. It did take every trick I knew to 100% the site though.
Once inside, the first room was fairly straight forward, the first pocket I warped into had 22 Sleeper Sentries. I don't know what to say about that. It over kill for most ships, and seems to just scream NESTOR. Part of the fun of these sites up to this point is the options to do them with a variety of ships, this one seems to contradict that.
Maybe have a way to temporarily disable the sentries by hacking a sentry control tower, similar to the hidden pocket in the Standard Sleeper Data Cache, every few minutes you would need to re-hack the sentry control tower or have to face full room agro from them. |

You're able to complete the sentry room without having to trigger all the sentries, of course as long as nobody else has triggered them. So while it is tricky, the whole site can be done in an Astero, for instance or even a T1 cov-ops (if you're really good). |

Create a copy of your eve directory folder and name it something like CCP - Test, then copy your eve client into there, create the appropriate shortcut, and make sure it patches that version. Voila, both on one computer |
