So, i want to experiment with doing some High sec Complexes, both rated or unrated. I have already done a decent bunch, however im not sure which race has the best complexes...
I have heard tid bits about some being better than others, however nothing conclusive. Does anybody have any experience with this? Right now im looking at a couple of systems that have a lot of Blood Raider sites, but before i drag ships out there, i want to make sure im not cheating myself :) In advance, thanks for the help. |

If best = most ISK, then it goes something like Guristas > Angels > Serpentis > Sansha > Blood |

But if best=most ISK/time, then the above pirate factions would require some modifier applied to them that somehow models the effective chance of first finding sites in their respective space and then being able to clear them without some1 else showing up and catching the rewards from right under your nose. So while Guristas space is indeed the most lucrative combat exploration (HS) area in eve in terms of bare item value, it is also by far the one with the most competition (ofc depending on your TZ and the exact area within Caldari space you intend to search for sites). Your best bet might be to try them in the given order and see if the competition is manageable during your times of exploration ;)

That is a good point, i might try that.
What about lowsec? is the order the same for that? I want to go to low sec once i have gotten the hang of it in high.

Competition is a plus for me. But some people don't like it and prefer to have sites to themselves.
I generally stay in hisec but yeah, lowsec should follow the same order.
Guristas and Angels have shield modules which are generally worth more than armor modules. Guristas implants (crystals) are worth more and sell quicker than Angels implants (halo), but Angels also have nice propulsion modules. Guristas ships sell for more than Angels ships. The Angel warp disruptor is nice and worth more than the Guristas one.
Out of the remaining armor factions, Serpentis is nice because they have propulsion modules and snake implants, and their ships are nice. The regular non-deadspace faction drops of Serpentis are nice too... the sensor boosters and tracking computers. Sansha's slave implants are nice, and their warp scram is highly sought after. Blood... well Blood is pretty much worthless.
