What I did was:
I waited some time until the owner of the station changed. And woohoooo, just 3 years later I am about to fly there and bring out my shiny drone alloys I left behind in 2011. |

I've never used them, but try asking if Black Frog has a way of moving stuff from your station.
Public courier contracts are also a possibility, but you will probably have to offer a very high fee in order to generate interest - I offered 10% of the collateral as the fee, which worked pretty well. If you must move a long distance, you may want to add in a bit more for jump fuel.
Marketing your stuff may sound like a good idea, but you must either price it far below market value, or sit and wait, adjusting prices, until it's all sold before moving.
Good luck! |

You, or an alt, get into an alliance that's blue to the station, then get the stuff out piece by piece. Eveskunk is a good source for stamdings. |

If you have any friends from your old corp who you trust, ask them to use the JF services available to the alliance on your behalf to get your stuff moved out.

Contact the new locals. Maybe they'll be sympathetic to your situation, especially given the length of time you were away. Another possibility along this route is that your interests might align with theirs. They may have a need for talent, and you might find enlistment preferable to moving.
Then, once safely inside, bide your time. Slowly gain their trust and climb the ladder. When the opportunity arises STRIKE THEM DOWN and then grind them under your boot-heel. Once their assets are forbidden to them, once their alliance is in tatters and their sov is lost, once they no longer have the means or the will to hinder you ... then you can move to hisec.

Ok, so I've gotten some rad advice (thanks everyone!) but I haven't given an update on what has actually happened. Here's a quick update which shows why and how EVE is so rad, at times. My alt woke up and the station was full of a super cool corp who took pity on me and totally took me in. It was a serious gamble since they could've decimated me, but it paid off and I'm happily ratting away in null sec. So what's the lesson?
1. This forum rocks (thanks again for giving me options I never even considered) 2. EVE rules because ONCE IN A BLUE MOON it drops you a ray of hope that you weren't expecting, and certainly didn't earn. For the most part though, you have to work your tail off and scrape by... Kind of like life I guess.
Anyways. I'm officially done. I came to the right place.
Thanks everyone. Fly safe out there.
Sincerely,
OM |

Lucy Oreless wrote: He flew out there in the first place.. EVE is about consequences for your actions.
True enough; however, when an entire region has been taken over by hostile forces or your alliance has given such space up voluntarily, how is that consequences of YOUR actions? Yes, flying out there is your responsibility and you need to have the consequence of getting out of there if your account is active and you can see that the station will be falling to enemy control. However, since you can not readily move your assets because you do not have knowledge of the system being taken over by an enemy...that isn't a consequence for your action. Thats just an unfortunate incident that can be rectified by a 1 time move out of hostile space. |

I think the conventional wisdom on this is to contact support through a ticket and see what kind of help they can offer you.
And CCP support cannot do anythign about it. THis is a social engineering game. PEopel need to remember aboutthis stuff before the unsub. IF they forgot, they must pay the price. They must firesale everything or just abandon everythign and restart at empire.

Lucy Oreless wrote:so you say i can just contract all that **** over to an alt of mine, unsub him for a extended period and then ask CCP to move it for me?
Keep in mind that CCP knows who your alts are, even if they are registered on different names and email addresses. I suspect they can see when accounts frequently share an IP address. A lot of people found this out the hard way when they used mining bot alts to fund their main, figuring it wasn't a big deal if the alt got banned. Then their main ended up getting banded too, oops. |
