I've heard on numerous videos and other topics about mapping data and relic sites, and it had something to do with the first three letter or numbers of each site.
Someone said they noted down in what system they were in and the three letters or numbers of the data or relic site and when they come round to that solar system at a future date, in the theory, and those first three letters or numbers where there then it would be a data or relic site they've noted down for that system, is that true and does it work??
Also I've been wondering if you make more isk from WH data and relic sites than high sec sites? And do these WH data and relic sites have sleepers or something like that with them all the time?and they attack you as I thought they didnt?
Many Thanks John |

Signature IDs are randomized, to my knowledge.
WH data and relic sites now come in two flavors, those native to WHs which are actually combat sites in addition to hacking (with the combat salvage more worthwhile than the hacking, until you reach the high class WHs where the cans start to have non-insignificant value), and recently Null-Sec variants of the data and relics now spawn in Low Class (C1-C3) WHs. Yes, the Null variants are more worthwhile than High-Sec variant data/relics. |

Signature IDs are indeed randomised. It is also true that if you write them down and come back later you will find those same sites with those same IDs. Once the sites despawn you will not see another one spring up in the same system with the same ID though: the signature ID is specific to that site spawning in that system.

Ids are random. I note them as I pass through so I don't waste time scanning them twice. So say I scan down a WH "yhg" on Wednesday. On Thursday if I see that sig I skip it. Saves time.
SItes in WHs are vastly more valuable than hi-sec. But it is dangerous. Hence higher rewards. |

So how can I tell if a data or relic site in WH space has sleepers or not, before I warp to them?
All this c1-3 to do with worm holes I still do t get and the static too. But I'll read up on that, but in high sex and I scan down a WH will they low level WH 's or not? Not too sure how to word it best as I'm still learning about wormholes.

I think what they are refering to is that if you run relic sites in the last hour before down time and dont finish it ..just take the good stuff and leave it when u come back on after DT it will have the same sig but be a hole new site refilled with new loot ...used to do this alot when i got on that early |

Wormholes in high sec can be any type. Bluish ones are c1 c2 as a rule. Inside, non-Sleeper site are Serpentis, Angel, Gurista, Sansha as in k space. Sleeper types have names with adjectives like "Forgotten."
One more time though, learn how to use D-Scan well before heading in. Or I will find you. |
