Mike, thank you for the Gnosis!
The frigate I got from Operation Magic School Bus when I was starting out gave me the resources and confidence to go out and do some more dangerous things. I knew if I lost my that ship, I'd have another to fall back on. I've had lots of great fun streaking around wormholes without a cloak and I've learned a lot in the process. :)
Lessons learned so far:
1) Be extra careful when selecting bookmarks from the map. 2) Even warping to within 100km of a sleeper combat site can see you in your pod very quickly. 3) Jove observatories are not good, off-the-beaten-path places to hang out and scan down anoms. 4) Don't around hang very long in "ghost sites."
I'm really looking forward to my future adventures. |

Thank you so much for the Algos! Im training up some additional skills and running some Agent quests in my smaller ships to get used to the interface and mechanics of the game before I take it out and scratch up the paint.
I appreciate the donation and the help you give in the Rookie channel.
Thanks again!! |

I stock (or try to keep stocked) the racial ships of the area that I am in. The only disappointed people are those that ask for, say, an Amarr ship at a Gallente career system. But for them I sometimes have the Mighty Battle Venture.
Or and apology and a bpc of something they can fly.

If you lose a free ship what loss is there? You have experience and are where you were before I arrived. (only smarter). Take some chances, have some fun

FIRST... woah caps lock.
First time poster, just so I could give a shout out to Mike.
I quit Eve ten years ago. Couldn't excuse the sub on my budget.
The free account from CCP is nice, and then Mike flies by, like St Nick 2 months late. Fully kitted out Executioner, with all the trimmings, active tank, pulse lasers WITH crystals, cap booster.
I cant say anything else but thankyou, you beautiful man!
I hope I can help out, or help you have some fun, sometime in the future! |

Helping small starting groups helps the members within. Same idea of giving a little starting push to get you rolling on that bike.

Mike the Genuine NewBro legend. As a NewBro, I lost my first retriever yesterday to a ganker because I was being complacent. Luckily there are people like you to come by randomly and remind the newer guys that, while Eve is a challenging game and death is a permanent fixture, there are those that genuinely want to help smooth out the monumental learning curve.
A HUGE Thanks from Jimbo the NewBro and all of us NewCoreProfits.

Thank you, Mike! So sweet, as a newbro (well, newsis) to have a ship that will allow me to take it further much faster! I'll take care of the Magick.
To the people who don't agree with the philosophy behind Mike's OMSB - I understand where you're coming from, but don't forget there are also newbros that will treasure their ships no matter how they got them, or at least, like them enough to watch out for big dangers to the best of their abilities. |

Like me - lol
I actually came across this thread and then met Mike in chat today. (albeit half way through the convo so I missed what was going on) and when I asked what was going on...p00f! Trade window
I actually had a buy order in for a Vexor as I am just starting out and learning the nuances and things to do and wanted a Vexor.
Thank you good sir! |

You are very welcome, one and all.
I will be on a short hiatus for one week (soon) but the Bus will be back when I return from sun and sand and bars and pools and . . .
I probably will come back . . . probably
The Bus will make runs tonight and maybe a run or two tomorrow. Minmatar folks? Keep your eyes open.

To celebrate the start of Fanfest The Bus will be doing a special run over the next two days.
Gnosis and some isk to fit it. Amy pilot less than 30 days old who answers in a career system local when I call out is eligible.
Two days and about 36 gnosis to hand out. Of course if nobody answers? Well there is always other events.
Yes, I offer free ships and have had a local with more than 80 people in it and not a single one answered. I know. seriously, I can't even.
