i dont count the Nestor,
am curious why there are not an T1 battleship sized logistics ships.... we have both frigate and cruiser sized...
is it a game ballance issue?? if so i will shut my mouth and walk away quietly and go back to blowing stuff up...

I don't think there is really a need for it. T2 logistics cruisers can rep battleships with no issue and caps rep themselves .
The only way I see a BS logi ship being necessary would be if they nerfed the cruiser sized ones into the ground. |

I think there should be battleship sized logi ships, t2 logi cruisers should be nerfed down to using medium RR. |

Nerf Logi all around.
Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective.

Logi as it is now make settling into null sec alot easier. Don't have all the ships for all the doctrines? No problem. Just train both armour and shield logi and done - all the rest can follow after that.
Some cruisers and battle cruisers use large shield boosters, some logi use large remote repairs - battleship logi with X-large repair that can help capitals as more difficult to hit by capitals, logi - now we are talking.
CSM Ten movement for change.

We don't need more remote reps than we do now. If anything, we need less. I do see some interesting potential for battleship-sized fleet support ship though, but only if they were focused on fleet boosting, not remote repping.
Give them:
1. A Nestor-esque Ship Hangar to allow in-space refits without being able to actually haul assembled ships. 2. A small Fleet Hangar to allow storage of spare ammo, drones, and/or modules. 3. Bonuses to cap transfers, remote sensor boosters, remote tracking comps, projected ECCM, etc. Not remote reps (Logi cruiser's job) and not warfare links (BC's job). 4. A Titan-esque bonus to fleet members, but on a much smaller scale (1-2% per level instead of 7.5%).
I could see these being useful and maybe actually reviving battleship gangs.

Its more to do with the myths about them being too slow to roam.

It just doesn't have the tank.
The main issue facing implementation of battleship logi is cost; they currently cost a quite a bit more than t2 cruiser logi despite the better insurance, and while they'd be more useful due to the stronk tank and low SP reqs, their sheer size would make them cumbersome. Although, if they had a big range bonus and long lock range, their usability with mjd would be interesting. |

i like whats being said, quite a spread of view points some yea / some nay...gotten more info via talkin with folks in game then on the boards..
overall most that i have talked to are in the boat of minor nurf to cruiser sized logi and then add in battleship sized logi... a few folks want another nestor style ship that does remote shield rep and uses drones.. |

NO to everyone saying logistics ships need to be nerfed
yeah I like the idea of BS and BC sized EWAR, Logi and Support. just leave them with awful lock speed and week buffers / resistances. |
