Please allow clone jump to same station.
TL:DR I never understand what the gameplay reason behind this limitation. We can not bring multiple clones to one station, so clone jump is always deterministic operation - move player from clone with one set of implants to another set of implants. And this is exactly what player wants to do and what he expects to see. Why the heck target clone must be destroyed during this operation if target clone located at source station? This makes no sense.
I have lost clone with expensive implants recently because of this stupid behavior. |

You can actually clone jump to the same station that you are currently in to change implants. The only problem is if you're sitting in a station with one of your jump clones and you try to jump somewhere else.
If that is the case, it is kinda your fault for not researching a well documented event.
All that being said, it doesnt make much sense other than from a UI standpoint why this restriction is in place. |

I'd like to be able to go to the Med center in a station, pay some isk and switch into a clone located in the same station vs. jumping into that clone. That way I can get into my different clone and still not have a timer. |

Yeah, that would be ideal. However, I will be quite happy even with clone jump timer. |

I don't understand why "Clone Switching" isn't a thing in EvE. Especially with Captains Quarters.
Why the hell can't I have a clone vat bay in my CQ so that I can get out of my pod. Walk up to the clone vat bay and switch into a different clone in station without losing my current clone or getting a JC timer.
This would actually encourage PvP as it's very tiring to hear "I can't PvP in this clone and my JC timer still has 14 hours on it"
Give us a use for the CQ. Make this a clone switching facility. |

I'd say it would be nice to be able to jump into clone that is parked in certain station rather than into station that is marked with "there's clone here" marker, if you know what I mean. Meaning possibility of several clones installed in the same place, but with different implants, for example. |

It's a balancing mechanic
If people are able to freely switch clones in station, the downside of wearing implant sets is removed, and resulting balance greatly favours richer and older players, who can afford to keep various pirate implant clones. It will also proliferate the use of implants, up to a point where they become standard requirement for any kind of success.
CCP has told they are working on improvements to clone-related gameplay, and if the availability and bonuses of implants are revisited, they will most likely also visit the instation clone switching. Just enabling it in the current situation would be bad, but if implants become more affordable and more interesting than simple stats boosts, it will be a nice new element.

I did not say 'freeely', keep jump timer to prevent clone implant change spam, if you think this is a bad thing. I just want to be able to jump from one location to same location without any side effects. |
