All I have to say (as I don't want to just get into arguments) is get rid of gate campers. As for how I don't know but I do know I would love the game a lot more if there weren't gate campers. |

I don't know if you've been playing for a long time, but it looks to me like you've made a half-hearted attempt at solo pvp, which is doable, but it takes a bit of experience. I'd suggest joining a corp that you can learn pvp in before trying to strike out on your own and eventually you may come to see gate camps as target rich environments.
Campers become complacent and want to get on every KM possible, often they fit their ships to lock and apply damage quickly. With experience and the right ships this can present you with an opportunity, as ships fit for catching other ships are weak in straight up combat. Knowing what ships to target and when to crash the gate to separate a gang can yield you kills against against even large camps. |

But that was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away and they used hyperspace not wormholes. |

It's immensely awesome and second off everyone already has a scanner and it depends where you land 100 km out of range and seeing them warp in is a lot better than you warping in. |

Hey like I said in the last thread I'm all for getting a massive fleet and joining the slaughter of easy kills. But this forum is for ideas on improving the game so here I am with good ideas. |

In fact I'm training for a carrier on a second account right now and plan on staking out the stake outs but my idea is to awesome. |

You can force a fight with level 100 signiture analysis and level 100 missile with damage bonuses. |

If they remove gate camps, all that would remain is station docking games in most of lowsec, it's easy as hell currently to avoid pvp off of gates and station undocks.
Don't get me wrong, gatecamps suck, for both those dying to them, and those spending hours doing them for an occasional kill. (Or being wiped out by a zerg.) But they serve a purpose as a chokepoint for pvp.
Question is, what would they be replaced with if removed? |
