Anyone have a good fit for the Mach off hand? Looking for something strictly to blitz, blitzable missions.
I've purchased and sold several Machs, but keep going back to the vargur, i figure a blitzing fit might be fun to keep around for certain missions.
This will be in minmatar space. I dont necessarily mind bling if it is required to make the fit work, but in general im not a fan of buying much other than RF gyros. Can do armor or shield. |

my more or less genereic mach fits, ac/arty versions. Shiny can be adjusted for taste, I don't think you need such an expensive MWD. The shield booster is pretty cheap ~38m in jita right now. Also with the arty mach you can swap the cap booster for a tracking comp. I used to fit a tracking comp, but on my latest refit I tried a medium cap booster. haven't had a reason to switch it up really. On my fittings I drop a gyro for a damage control for the extra EHP. I prefer to be cost ineffective to gank.
I have a vargur I almost never fly. I much prefer the mach.

You can use a Gist B-Type Large + Core B-Type MWD as alternative. The cap booster can then be replaced with a Tracking Computer.
I don't normally use Mach for anything but Angels. The Paladin is much more efficient vs the other types of rats. However, extreme blitzers cherry pick missions exclusively, so a Mach may fit their usage profile closer due to its superior warp speed & agility.

That's what I was using. With my skills it did 1274 dps. With all skills at lvl5 it does 1357 dps.
If I would swap Gyros for domination ones, removed T2 Damage control and fitted 3 Imperial Navy drone damage amplifiers, then I would get 1396 DPS with my skills or 1493 dps with all skills at lvl5.
Also republic fleet fusion / emp gives extra 160 dps, but in my opinion, it's not worth the isk.

gist boosters are good, just a bit expensive. same with faction/deadspace invulns.
drone damage amps are interesting, but I think I'd rather have the tracking and falloff from a few TEs. also I should probably try geckos, don't think I've really tried to use them in my mach much.
don't know if faction ammo is worth it, I tend to mostly fly the arty fit so it makes sense there, with ACs the thing is an ammo hose. but I don't fly vs angels often enough to have enough data there.
and CCCs are just no.

There is a reason for CCC rigs. This setup runs 24/7. So before warping to mission, you activate a shield booster and invuls. And incase client crashes, you have permatank running.
If you are 100% sure that the client will not crash or you don't disconnected, then feel free to change them to fall-off extensions rigs or whatever suits you. |

Gist boosters and CCC rigs let you run the tank 24/7.
Yes invuls are expensive. But they save time on refits. You just drop ammo and go onto another mission.
I tried with tracking enchancers and drone damage mods. Well in my opinion tracking enchancers aren't needed. Autocannons track well enough. |

Missions are about gank. CCC rigs, and for that matter any fitting mods are for scrubs sorry. The Mach is not a drone boat. Use lights to kill frigs that get inside. If missions frighten you, use a Micro Jump Drive to gtfo

This.
I run a mach with a pith x-type x large booster and 2 faction invuls. no cap booster , no nos , no ccc rigs..
I can do evry single lvl 4 with it and never have to worry about tank.

I run arch angel missions with this. The only mission that will give you issues is blockade I believe. This is a pretty cheap fit that gets the job done out in 0.0. Fit the Neut as a just in case module for PvP survivability when that tackling cov-ops/inty comes your way.

@Chainsaw Plankton Thanks for the fits, will def be using as a template. Imma do a little playing EFT primarily with warpspeed rigs, cause I'm probably going to use the vargur on missions that require a lot of combat, still looking to see if they are worth losing the ~6% dps if burst II is dropped
That being said and kinda as a side note, I think imma ask in S&M. Warp mechanics with this hulls bonus has me confused a bit |

t2 invluns work fine for me, agree 100% about not wasting time with refitting.
and ACs track just fine, I mostly like the extra falloff. my t2 light drones seem to deal with npc frigs just fine without damage mods. EFT is showing 941 dps at 30km with 3x tracking enhancers, vs 675 without. that beats the hell out of an extra 50 dps on my light drones. the bonus is pretty awesome on geckos though. but still don't think it makes up for the loss of dps on my guns at range.

it is very easy to get through nearly every mission without using the cap/shield booster, however having it there means you can shoot the triggers early and let the npcs come closer so you are doing more dps with your guns. Also with the cap use reduction on 100mn MWDs from a few patches ago the cap booster is less useful. Oh yea and faction/deadspace invlunls are huge bonuses over t2, but again they also cost quite a bit more. I kinda like not being obvious gank bait.

no problem!
the warp bonus is pretty awesome, gets you to/from missions way faster. I can't stand flying a t1 bs anymore, they go so slow. I don't know that it is worth losing much damage to fit though. Looks like you can put one on a vargur pretty easily, although a bit tighter on the mach. not too hard to make it work though, but imo the mach warp speed is good enough.

u can shoot triggers early without a perma running tank too, just make sure you always have something on grid to shoot.
The damage you gain from not sacrificing that many slots for cap more than makes up for "being able to shoot triggers earl" |
