If you are -10 you should loose the right to have either a Medical Clone or Jump Clone in high security space. There are many independent capsules stalking the pirate menace in high security space with great success. This is the good news. Its a disappointment to see these -10 pirates get Poded only to reappear back in system. I think the simple solution is bar the -10 Pirate Rats from using jump clones or Medical clones in Empire. If you endorse this idea please +1.

I sometimes jc, either to play with a market, or even to buy tags to fix the sec status later at a concord thingie. Being low i dont think u can or shoudl auto relocate someones spawnclone.
I understand however the frustration of seing him reappear and with no clone cost making it a endless endavour. I know everyone will go crazy but maybe - sec shoudl still pay in high sec for their clone, so u destroy isk hehe |

Thanks for your time. BP The "pirate menace" is in the game on purpose. Your proposal is just a slight nerf that will reduce conflict by making podded pirates make a few extra jumps before re-shipping.
How is a -10 in a pod a threat to you anyway?
The lack of satisfaction you feel after podding someone was a predictable consequence of the removal of clone costs and affects all PvPers, not just highsec anti-gankers. Perhaps a new clone mechanic that CCP has hinted at will give you the satisfaction you crave after podding someone.

-10 characters are already very limited when operating in Highsec. It is almost impossible to do something else in space other than a suicide gank attack which results in the loss of the ship. Additionally every player can open fire on you and will get NPC support after a few seconds which will pretty much always end in the destruction of the -10 chars ship.
Suicide ganks where already nerfed to the point where they are no longer profitable. This is reflected by the fact that only a few entities ingame are capable of organizing such attacks usually with a huge meta game strategy to finance them.
Past nerfs already successfully eradicated most of the -10 or gankes with highsec sec status from Highsec. I don't see the need for any further nerfs, except if you want to remove every last possibility of a successful ganking operation from Highsec and make Highsec 100% safe for all NPC corp characters or characters which reform one man corps, which I guess is the hidden agenda behind your proposal. Right?

Not going to affect much.. Most suicide gankers can get their pods out. So if they just set up on a lowsec systems a few jumps out of Uedama(or other basing system of theirs), they can travel for 5 minutes and be back in the game even if they do get blown up. |

Yes, but that at least forces the -10 to navigate their way back to the target system. As it is they can just re-ship, and wait it out in the station for the next victim in the system if they so choose.
From an Eve storyline point of view, I have never understood how a -10 is allowed to dock in a high sec station. I can't dock in any station in null that takes my fancy and no complaints there, as that mechanic can be rationalised. |

Stations are owned by individual corps, not by concord. From an eve storyline point of view, if i have -10.0 status with concord, but 5.0 status with Gallente federation, why should i be prevented from docking into a gallente fed station? |

I could live with that. On the basis that if your worth to the station owner was great enough they would overlook your criminal status and DED has no in-station presence. |

Thanks for your time. BP This would change nothing. Honestly, you have to be completely inept to lose a pod in highsec.

Further to the bolded part, capsuleers do a vast amount of the work for corporations in empire space as well as taking care of all sorts of grey or even downright black ops (Seriously have you seen what some missions ask you to do?) against pirates and even other corps. A CEO would be considered insane to cut their corp off from that kind of support, especially since using capsuleers makes it possible to get this stuff done without risking a single one of your own vessels or getting in trouble with CONCORD.

The problem is not the clones it is the newbie ships.
-10 people don't just use one newbie ship they criminaly flag then die in about 25 of them apiece in an effort to "move" concord.
First ask yourself how stupid the RP of a game is that the solution is to feed someone marked as a criminal more ships. Why i ask? They can't afford a shuttle? All these people care about is their killboards and by allowing them to get an endless supply of newbie ships to move Concord or fit with tech 2 weapons and gank is pretty dumb.
I mean do you find that to be realistic? Find any application where you become a criminal and are rewarded for it.
The RP for it is as dumb as the game mechanic. |

Well, that or since we're not biased like you are, we can see that threads like this are just self serving, gamebreaking suggestions made by selfish, shortsighted people who don't care about game balance.

The RP for it is as dumb as the game mechanic. I have seen you post this multiple times. Taking away rookie ships is pointless. A shuttle or even frigate hull is insignificant in the grand scope of things. I for one already use shuttles as it is less annoying to just make a batch of them then constantly having to get more rookie ships. Stepping up to an atron hull would make no difference to me.

Clearly the problem is that people are allowed to die in highsec when their misplaced expectations clearly stated otherwise.

I'd support removing the ability of -10 characters docking in high-sec stations if high-sec was broken up into a bunch of small islands, the surrounding low-sec was given plenty of medical facilities and CONCORD only responded after faction navy ships had turned up and attempted to kill the criminal (I'd go with effectively doubling CONCORD response times but having navy ships turn up and start firing based on the old response times.) |

You are forgetting another dynamic link: Concord Security Status does not mean a particular Empire or Corporation hates you.
CONCORD cares if you are -10. If you are +1 with CONCORD, -10 to Caldari and fly into Caldari space, it is not CONCORD who shoots you but the Caldari Navy and customs officials.
So I can perfectly imagine a situation where a wanted criminal by CONCORD is accepted with open arms by various corporations in High Sec. |
