I've been reading the forums here and various other places online, and the ONE thing I'm convinced of at this point is few people have agreed on this issue from what I've read so far. I'm trying to figure out the best way to go for an implant set while flying a Drake for lvl 3 missions, and eventually lvl 4.
Is there a general consensus at this point on an ideal set?
Any help/advice offered would be GREATLY appreciated. |

RL-100x is about it. Otherwise, don't bother. Implants are the sort of thing that can be tacked on later (read: for maximizing L4s, should you choose to do so). At least that one transfers across all missile ships. |

I think explosion radius and velocity implants help on pretty much every ship, as well as the rapid launch one Zhilia mentioned. |

Fair enough. I use those slots for other things, but you could make the argument. GP-80x and TN-90x if you're curious. TN interferes with light and rocket implants but that's likely not a big deal. The only other slot 8 missile implant is the curiously and uniquely awful defender missile implant. Until now I didn't even know the DM-806 existed in the database and have to question whether one has ever existed in game -- but then incursion runners by in large confuse me in their choices in the first place. |

Too many people underestimate the value of damage application GÇö for missiles this being explosion radius & explosion velocity. For a heavy missile user the effects are most visible against elite frigates, especially in L4 missions.
If the capsuleer switches to using Cruise Missiles the effects of GMP & TNP are even more pronounced, leading to better damage application against cruiser-sized targets.

missile damage and application implants are the only option imo.
