I have always found these types of threads interesting, it's nice to catch up on things going on in our merry little warzone, especially as content can be hard to come by!
It looks like the Minmatar are starting to get their act back together with three systems being flipped back from the Amarr. In a pleasant and morale boosting show of force the Auner system fell to a fleet of 70+ Minmatar pilots. Even with a lot of the 'Old Guard' dropping militia it looks like the Minmatar can still field 'Burn Huola' conflict numbers if it puts its mind to it.
Also of note Lulm was flipped today after several days of militia skirmishes, Lulm being a key system in the region that has historically hosted some elements of the Minmatar Militia as a home system in the past it is possible that pressure on surrounding systems will increase.
Any one want to chip in with their own updates please do. If we can generate a narrative to the conflict again we can all share in the good fights. Lets also try to avoid too much trolling...

with IO leaving and the real ifw also, you are not fielding burn huola numbers at all. even if you are fielding 70 man fleets that is not saying you have the experience in pvp like io and ifw did. either way your still gonna be waiting a while to get 1 or both of those.
heres a good warzone update. amarr dont care about sov anymore. you know, warzone control and all.

Nice to see you didn't biomass after all...
You should know better than anyone that you should never say never to a FW comeback, I would be surprised if the Amarr have seen the last of IO or IFW. Even if they do not return today's eager recruits are tomorrows 'Old Guard'. Mistakes are cheap in FW, you can always buy another Frigate!
Thank you for the fast response even though you are not interested, will you be pursuing a life of piracy after you drop militia now that you have no interest in the warzone? Also nice to see Biohazard make a return to Amarr Militia, the morale boost for the Minmatar is appreciated; I am seeding the Amarr market with Talwars as we speak :-)
On a serious note welcome back, we all miss out when entities leave FW entirely whether they are rage filled FC's or traitorous corps! |

Will be great to see this thread increase in activity as a mirror to an increase in activity in game.
However, right now I see the quietest month in many as part of 24eme Legion Estrangere. The current FW mechanics are still not enough to really pull a lot of us online.
I will be back, of course, once the WZ has become interesting again and after I find time spare from being a Father, Husband, Employee & healthy person.
In the meantime you will find me enjoying huge amounts of gaming fun in less than 15 mins at a time playing Hearthstone. It may be a bit random for a card game but it has more fun per minute than FW In EVE offers right now.
Still, once they fix Null sec Sov Wars all will be better and EVE won't be dying again.

I for one am quite happy Minmatar are gaining members again, and now have a few places, reasonably close to where I live that they can base out of. Shooting them is just as fun as shooting neutrals, and gives me LP.
The only downside of Minmatar coming back is dplexing, If only I could somehow harness all the farmers and tell them where I want them to dplex and where I don't want them too..... |

Didn't you....already do this in the summer? On FW.com
I mean, you were leaving the game, biomassing and indicated that you were giving away all your stuff because; Battlecruisers. If that is you in the comments you say you even gave this toon away.

untill you get closer you wont see any resistance from us so take them all for all we care. We have hundreds of millions of lp waiting to cash in when the value increases. :) |

could have done this in one day with one person. its not like this **** that is medal worthy or stop for recognition happens everyday, or even every year. CCp should have takin the time out to make this already this is inexcusable.
might be hilarious to you that i suicided my ****. but the results would probably have been still the same. the game isnt even worth playing, especially with this kind of blatant dismissal of content created by the user that ccp wants users to do.

Thanks CCPChatgris.
serious fake edit - Pocket is correct though that it really shouldn't take very long to create a damn medal, key in the parameters for who should get one, and put in on the server. Also, CCP should be giving out a medal to the Amarr and to those in Galmil that participated in the second taking of the cal/gal warzone.
It is CCP's own damn fault that they create mechanics that don't preserve the perpetual war, but instead promote sweeps of the warzone. So no whinging CCP about giving out ******* medals. Just do it. And if it is a pain in the ass, change the tier rewards and/or plexing mechanics to make it incredibly hard to sweep the warzone. kthnxbye
CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, please give us a persisting-áoff button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

Well I wish the Battlemonks the best of luck, taking a stand on principle is a rare thing in EVE. (If they have principles and enjoy being the underdogs why are they Amarr militia?!?!?) I don't know about Amarrian Commandoes but Shirak Skunkworks are a real pain to try and fight if you don't have high sp pilots in fleet who can chase them down. I suspect it will be one sided and if no one lends them a hand it could just be a 'Civil Skirmish'...

There is nothing else to discuss on that reddit post, those that know us know we are 100% amarr and do not pass on intel about amarrian militia. Those that would rather see us gone will say whatever they want to make us seem like bad guys. We don't really care about the latter tbh, none of us have anything to prove and to change our playstyle so some RP guys (that includes you FHP) can get a hard on for punishing pirates in a wonderful RP setting would be ridiculous.

I don't know how many others will say this, but I thank the Amarr for letting Minmatar take back some systems. For the new guys who don't understand the cyclical nature of FW based on it's mechanics, being able to say we've taken back some systems has been a great morale boost.
Now, I've definitely seen some resistance and lots of great fights along the way, but I know based upon the Amarr response before their complete warzone control that we're not fighting you all at your best. I have not seen anyone deployed to our backwater systems this time around just to prevent our push.
Granted, my activity as of late has been poor in my opinion, especially in regards to getting out and looking for fights. I spend most of my time these days keeping an eye on the Gultratren market, hoping my actions as an individual can benefit the entirety of the Minmatar militia by keeping our newbros out flying instead of dying at tradehubs.
Also, I'm looking forward to Minmatar being able to form up doctrine cruiser gangs so we can get more fights against these Vexor/VNI/Exeq fleets I keep seeing. Hopefully it shouldn't be too long and I look forward to those fights (cruiser fleet > frigate fleet) greatly.
Finally, I'm disappointed Amarr don't have their medal yet... |
