Reach over 75% of the known galaxy by advertising through EVE Guardian! Our bespoke advertising program is now live on our award-winning pan-regional news service and we are open for business!
EVE Guardian is a non-profit making Corporation and all of our income goes to funding sporting and community events within the EVE galaxy itself. So, when you advertise with us, you are also making the galaxy a more exciting place for yourself!
Advertising slots are a breakdown of the 100% site-wide coverage and are normally sold in 10% blocks, or to put it another way you can buy 10% of the views to the site, 20% or even 70%. The advertising comes in weekly blocks running from Thursday to Thursday.
One slot per week is available for free sporting/community advertising and we will also provide one-slot free advertising for freelancers and small corporations via a competition system.
Costing:
2 million ISK per week per 10% slot.
OoC:
Guidelines & additional Information:
Free slots: The free slot for community events and sporting events is awarded by discretion of the EVE Guardian staff. The free slot for Freelancer/Small Corporations will normally be made available via a ôEVE Knowledgeö competition hosted by EVE Guardian or via achievements of distinction within the EVE community. All such awards of advertising slots remain at the discretion of EG staff and may be withheld or changed without prior notice or agreement.
Adverts must be either .jpg .gif or flash
They must be 120 x 600 pixels (skyscraper)
They must not be racially offensive (RL)
They must not use obscene language
They must be "In Character"
Links from the adverts may go to non-IC websites.
Adverts must pass a quality inspection by EVE Guardian staff, we retain the right to refuse to use any sub-standard adverts.
Maximum % slot purchases is 70%
Advertising can be tailored to target specific country-of-origin for web browsers. We can therefore target your adverts to only display to your (or your corps) country of origin (e.g. Sweden, Germany, United Kingdom, and USA etc, determined by ISP). We can also target by time of day.
Package deals and long-term advertising can be arranged.
All bookings must be made via the EVE guardian website using the ôContact usö form. We will then get back to you via email, eve-mail or IRC.
Payments must be made in-game to ôGuardian PRö, do not pay in advance or until your advert has been authorised as ôokö by EG staff. Payment does not guarantee your advert will appear in that week (donÆt send the money THEN ask to have an advert OKÆd and included that week.)
Please direct all general questions to this thread.
PS: We would love for CCP to advertise also, so long as they make an In-Character advert! (We will add additional NPC Corporation adverts ourselves linked to the back-story elements that currently exist as and when we can)
All elements of this notice are subject to alteration by EG without prior notice.

If I understand this correctly, a player can use Isk that was earned within Eve, to purchase an outside product (web site advertising) in real life?
Does that mean that the ban has been lifted for using your in game Isk to trade in real life?
Is it now allowable to trade your in game currency on ebay or trade to a friend for real life currency?
Are there any newspaper reporters around that can confirm the story that using your in game Isk outside of Eve is now permissable?

If CCP have not lifted the insta perma ban policy to use ingame items/isk for outside the game purpose, I would say EvE Guardian is in big trouble.
Would be nice if any offical spokes person could verify this...

Don't you think that they might want people to advertise for their products in EVE???
E.g. Buy our MOA's, cause they're dirt cheap!!

Dunno but I think it's all to be considered ingame. Perhaps for their ingame edition of the website etc..

Per their post;
"Links from the adverts may go to non-IC websites."
So the banners they are allowing you to buy with your in game currency can go anywhere? I suppose CCP took the ban out that you can now use in game currency for items outside of Eve. Just thought I would have seen the announcement. I still need to see how much Isk can be converted to US dollars on ebay now, I wonder what the exchange rate is?

Are you planning on selling the stuff you stole from our corporation for real money?
I don't want to be responsible for multiple posts on the same subject. Therefore, if you have any comments about the Crew of Two embezzlers, then please post it here.
