Like i said im relitivly new to the game and i like mining. In a few days i will be able to fly my procurer and would like to hire a hauler. How do i do this without getting robed and what is the avrege cut of the profit. Or is it more of a charter system with a set payment per run. How do i alow the hauler to take stuf from my can without getting flagged. Im on my phone so sory about the spelling. |

You can create courier contracts using the Contract App in the business section of your Neocom and you can demand collateral to protect against theft of your cargo.
Prices will depend on the number of jumps and the amount of collateral demanded. You can checkout existing contracts placed by others to get a feel for the market.
Moving small amounts of Ore by courier contract is unlikely to be economical. Probably better to sell to local buy orders or buy a Miasmos and haul it yourself. |

Well for starters you really want to drop the ore to the local station yourself, and then contract the stuff from there (procurer has decent orehold so this wont slow you down THAT much). Unless you really really trust the haulerguy. |

here is three scenarios.
Your mine in your procurer - haul the ore back to the satation when full. Accumulate the ore until you want it moved. You set up a public contract. Specify your reward + your collateral (what you will receive if the contract is not completed) and you wait for the contract to be fulfilled.
Your mine in your procurer. You have managed to track down someone you trust to continuely haul for you whilst you mean. You fleet up as what you jettison will allow him or her to loot without being flagged as suspect. he or she hauls the ore to the station for you and eventually to a trade hub for sale. How you work out the payments I dont know. i would say a 50/50 split is fair since the hauler is putting in just as much work as you are.
Your join a mining corp or industrial focused corp as these tend to have dedicated ore buy back schemes and haulers who will generaly haul for free since you are in corp. |

You could also set up another account and train it to run a miasmos. That is allowable for trial accounts now. If you don't sub it you will need to run it on a separate pc though. Fleet up with the hauler and jettison the can so the hauler can pick up.
Long term you may want to think about training this new account into an Orca. It gives boost as well as being able to haul.
Hauling ore to sell outside the system you mined it in is a pain so best bet is try to sell it locally.

Otherwise, find a system where you feel safe using a Retriever so you don't have to go to station so often. An alt for one miner is less efficient than two miners hauling their own ore.
What you really want to find is an Orca boost to increase your yield/isk.
Welcome to Eve.

Just join a mining corp. They will always have haulers that will collect your ore right after you jettison, plus most have Ore Buy Back which means you get paid almost instantly. |

A second account isn't an option for me. I figure that if someone wants to buy it from me as i mine it at a steep discount like 40-50% and let them do whatever thy like with it. Fleet up, they pay, I jettison the ore. Simple and no way for either of us to get screwed. |

just haul each load of ore back to a station and dump it in your hanger. train Gallente Industrial I and buy a Miasmos. When you have a full Miasmos load of ore, haul it to a trade hub yourself.
if you're Ice mining in a HS system and don't want to waste time warping all the way back to station (or if there's no station in the system you're mining) when you fill up, make a bookmark 1,000km'ish off the ice belt as you warp in. Jettison loads of ice at that spot and return with a Miasmos once the belt depletes. Keep an eye on the time and don't let them sit there too long.
in any event, train Gal Indy I at least.

Mining already isn't the most exciting occupation at the best of times. Watching another person mine to haul a load of ore to station every hour for 40-50% of mining profits is even worse. Noone right in his mind would volunteer for such a job. At least no honest person would. Just drop the ore in a station in your mining system whenever the ore hold is full. This will be much more profitable then forfeiting half your profits.
I congratulate you to the selection of your mining barge. You made the wise decision to prefer safety over yield or volume. Do not counteract this by letting someone else handle your ore. |

Join a mining corp that provides Orca boosts and haulers.
Mining is already a low-profit profession. A hauler making a living off of a percentage of what a one miner makes won't happen. |

Joining a mining corporation seems like the better idea. Since you'll get boosts, services, hauling, better reprocessing yield etc..

Simple and no way for either of us to get screwed. 40/50% is too steep... 15% below Jita would be acceptable and common in my experience, while getting the benefit of boosts and not having to worry about hauling the ore back to station. Good luck, and welcome to eve! |

you could buy some bpcs or bpos and make stuff that players want , I should not take long to find out what the local players need can ask them just a sugestion |

Way back when I did mine ore, this is what I did, and found it quite efficient for me. First I used a Skiff. But I also set up Giant Secure Containers on 4 belts, with 10 GSCs per belt, all aligned going down the length of the belt. As the Skiff filled up, I put the ore in the GSCs as I moved down the belt. (with GSCs you can anchor them, an no one can steal your stuff that's in them, and they are practically indestructible)
After all 4 belts (40 GSCs) were full, I went and grabbed my Itty V (at the time), transferred the ore to the Itty, took to base, and sold.
Now, of course, like I said this was way back when, when I was new too. It was a good way to build up some isks, along with missions, etc. But now I have made billions hauling.... anywaz, that's my 2 cents worth.
Once you have a ton of ore at your base you can courier contract it out to where you want to send it to.

Dependant on location and presuming you don't want to or can't set up a second account I would suggest doing 'jet-can' mining ie just jettison your ore hold once it is full. Fill a couple of 'jet-cans' then reship to the Gallente hauler with the ore hold (The name escapes me at present.) and collect the ore.
Dependant on location this system still works for miners. |
