Greetings Ladies and Lords, noblemen and women, citizens of the Empire, treasured allies and capsuleers of New Eden.
For over a millennia the Contes and Contessas of the Solfete have hosted a two week long festival celebrating our faith and reflecting on our piety as a people and the children and Chosen of God. The week of joy will start with services on the seventh of next month at 2300 EVE Standard time. The Bringing Forth the Light of Faith service will begin the festival. The service will reflect upon the Commission from God for the True Amarr to bring the Light of Faith to every star in the heavens. It celebrates those races who have been reclaimed, whose heart shines with the Light and act in the LightGÇÖs name to receive the immortal blessing of Paradise from the Lord. Following the service, there will be a feast in celebration of St. Gheinok the First.
For the first time this celebration service will be open to persons from not only of Greater Amarria, but select Capsuleers from around the cluster. For Capsuleers not loyal to Greater Amarria please post or mail to myself to request an invitation. Your name will be cleared through the usual Imperial agencies.

Greetings, while i may not know much about your faith, i wish to learn more about it, so i can sympathize with my Amarrian allies and Corporation members on a deeper level.
I would appreciated a invitation to this grand event under these grounds, so i may meet more of your great peoples and learn more of your culture and faith. I will of course surrender to all scans or checks, please let me know if this can be arranged.

Lady Erin Savonarola,
My wife, Leliel, would of encouraged me to ask for an invite saying something to effect of, "in order for our union to truly work we both must strive to understand each other's cultures. Attending celebrations of faith such as this are important to me Tabris." However she is no longer with me and those who took her are still out avoiding justice. So I will not be asking for invite but I do ask that you enjoy and celebrate to the fullest. She would of wanted that. |

I should point out that there will be no burning of heretics at the services on the seventh. That's actually the concluding service at the end of the Week of Reflection and Sorrow, on the twenty first. |

Strictly speaking a heretic is someone who misappropriates the Faith and its practices. They amend or add tenets to the Faith and create a warped, misinterpreted version. Someone who turns away from the Faith is an apostate. Which of these is a greater form of spiritual death is unknown to me.
You, as an non-believer who I presume did not turn away from the Faith, are not a heretic or an apostate but a heathen. That word has developed a very negative connotation. What it really means is you are one who does not yet know the Truth but who has every opportunity to do so. A Wayward Brother.
If you wish to know more, and if the Contessa would have you, I am sure many of the Faithful will be present and willing to share their knowledge with you. I myself will be present but am unlikely to be of any further help in regards to theology.
Contessa you may consider this my RSVP.

Burning of people. I guess I shouldn't be surprised the rumors were true. So these are your civilized and enlightened True Amarr, little kin? These are the ones you would willingly see inflicted upon New Eden. This is why I will never stop fighting. The mad individuals like Nauplius and the rest of the blooders, Sansha and others are just that. Delusional madmen that are easily recognized as such.
This, however? Otherwise rational, clever and skillful men and women who still somehow thinks it's a good thing to burn other men and women, in the name of a faith. I can't imagine a more dangerous enemy of New Eden. |

It is their faith, and their people, I am assuming they are Amarrian and not Minmatar slaves.. I hope this is the fact, if it is their own people though who are we to judge? The Amarr hold religion above life, almost like a law, and they follow that, just as Caldarin citizens are bound by State Law's, and as are the Gallente and the Minmatar, even the pirate groups of New Eden have laws and religions, and if they break those laws, those religions, they are killed depending on the seriousness of the crime, that happens all over New Eden, the Amarr merely take care of it there own way, we can not judge, for we treat people we consider criminals with punishments equal to their crime, for the Amarr their religion is their life, and their number reason for living, despite what you my think of it, they are not so much different, what is the difference of a Caldarin CEO being hung for breaking the States laws, and for a Amarrian killing one of their own for breaking their religion or attempting to subvert it, their is no difference in the long run, I'm sure your people have a way of dealing with whom they consider traitors, do they not? The Amarr do not call you out on this.
Think about it, is there really so much difference between one of your own committing your equivalent of a capital crime, and being executed for it, compared to a Amarrian breaking their laws and being executed?
There religion is there life, it is their way, their faith, we may or may not agree with all of it, but the same can be said of all our races practices, and to the Amarr, their religion is the law, the one true law if I'm not mistaken, it is what they live for, if someone breaks that, and it is serious crime (trying to subvert it or use it to there advantage or gains) then they deserve to be executed, just as i believe a citizen of the state should be executed for breaking our laws and practices. |

Let me clarify my statement: Blood Raider heretics. If one murders and kidnaps and generally does all those despicable things Blood Raiders do, I burn them. Apologies for the confusion. In my own little part of Amarr, if someone says heretic, it is almost always assumed to be Sani Sabik. |

From what little i know of the Sani Sabik, keep in mind i am a military commander, so i know little of the history, so if i get it wrong please correct me, but the Sani Sabik were the precursors to the Blood Raiders, and they were the ones who originally mutated and changed the teachings of the Amarri (i do apologise, but i do not know the actual name of your religion, I'm sure i will be informed at the festival) and made a warped version of it, believing they were born "higher" then the rest of New Eden and that everyone else was born to serve, they sacrificed people for the blood and did strange rituals, they even took poeple against there will, which the Blood Raiders still do today if i am informed correctly, my expertise is in Gurista's, so apologies if i am misinformed, but if this is true.. That would make you worse then the Amarr, would it not? They kill those who trespass against them an destroy or attempt to subvert their faith, their life.. But Blood Raiders and by extension Sani Sabik, with the exception of the Gallente groups, i am given to believe they use each others blood, still just as disturbing, but Blood Raiders kidnap innocents and sacrifice them, even people who are not Sani Sabik in origin, the Amarr punish their own, they don't walk into a Gallente settlement and burn them all because they do not share the same faith.
In this Savonarola-hanni, i agree with you, the Sani Sabik are a dark and subverted cult that has taken your faith and attempted the darken its light, you will hear no protest from me, but i will not celebrate death, though i condone it, i am looking forward to learning more about the Amarrian way. |
