I traded some items and even made some ISK out if it.
Rules of thumb: New items are usually bad to flip, because they drop in value quite fast. New items are often a profitable way to turn AUR to ISK (you know you can buy AUR with ISK, right?). If you manage to grab an item that is discontinued, you're about to make profit (if you wait long enough). Apparel sells slooooooooow.

Too slow for me. Heck, even T2 rigs move faster and that can be glacial on the large ones. |

I figured it was very much a niche product that moves slow as they are never destroyed. I made a tidy profit on the blue Quafe shirts but I held them for a year or so. |

How doeas apparel get on the regular market? Do people buy it through NES and then seed on the market?
I'm asking cause I've had four orders on the market for some time now (no sell orders for these items) and was wondering how long I could have to wait to see someone selling them. |

Yes, some are bought in the NES shop (you can open it to see which ones are available) and then enter the market - for some people it is simply a way to get Isk out of Aurum.. But many are already discontinued and those just recycle in the market when owners get tired of them, but slowly becoming more and more rare.

The limited editions are... interesting. Such as the Strider Dress Shirt (white/blue) from the Art of New Eden.

The items you linked above aren't limited edition - they can be bought using FW L.P. |

None of the four items I've buy orders for are in NES so I was wondering if there was any other way those ended up on the regular market. Guess I'll just have to wait. |

Yes, the these particular ones can be found on the Gallente Federation store. The issue of the Art of New Eden is limited, however.

I did some sucessfull trading , but i'll admit is was most due to luck . I bought stuff for collection , and then it became extreemly expensive ,tattoos , monocles , limited items etc .
Opportunities multiply as they are seized.

You can make way more by selling what's underneath.
Clothing is far more usefull as package, than for selling directly.
