LFG or Looking for Group is an automated system in WoW in which you queue for something and are automatically put into a group. Eve has no equivalent to that. In Eve you have to make friends. Friends are good. |

I stand corrected. This could be used in a manner to be roughly equivalent to LFG. The fact that it almost never is used that way does not mean Eve does not have an equivalent. My apologies to Inxentas Ultramar. |

Do I absolutely need a Carrier for L3?
Ps: i am limited to T1 ships for now Some level 4's have been done in a lone T1 frigate however that is not recommended nor easy. Destroyers can dish out lots of damage but they also typically take more damage. There are many missions that can be run easily in a frigate but be difficult in a destroyer but many missions that the destroyer can make it faster.
You can look up on your own how long it will take you to fly a T2 frigate. They are very powerful and I've run many level 3s in them with no issue.
In Eve there is no one way to do anything. However the recommended T1 ship for a level 3 would be a Battlecruiser. |

Issue currenty with the fleet finder:
You can't make true public adverts.
You can make adverts open based on:
Corp membership Alliance membership Standings set to good or excellent.
But there is no way to have an advert open to anybody.... Which is a PITA for the NPSI groups for instance, they have to manually invite people from a chat channel.

Is it better to rush to L2 missions or quickly farm L1 missions for the storyline missions?
I must admit i find 1/2 of the L2 missions i get a little long to complete and tough with my destroyer...and I go through L1 in a matter of a couple minutes...
What are the rewards for storyline missions?
Thanks

Storyline's main reward is Faction standing.
They sometimes also hand out basic implants.
What is better, that depends why you are running missions...

I know this isn't particularly helpful, but you're better farming L3 distribution missions for storylines (if you're looking for standings) and L4 missions for income.
Out of L1 and L2, that is entirely dependent on your skills and the ships you can fly for those missions. The difference in reward between these missions is negligible compared to L2 vs L3 missions, which pales in comparison to L3 vs L4 missions. Most of your time completing L1 and L2 missions will be travel to and from the mission site, as well as docking/undocking.
By the time you get to L3 security missions you'll find that a larger portion of the time is spent in actual combat, and your ship, skills and fitting will have a more significant impact on ISK or standings per hour.
As others have pointed out, what is best for you depends on what you want to get out of the endeavour. If you're looking for entertainment, I'd recommend joining RvB or Faction Warfare rather than engaging in PVE activities.

How ship dependent are distribution missions?
What I mean is that for security mission you need decent ship or you won't make it in one piece. Is it the same for distribution missions? |

For distribution missions you need a cargo ship of the appropriate size.
Quote: Level 2 distribution missions will require up to 450m3 of cargo space (easily handled in a Probe with cargo expanders), level 3 distribution missions will require up to 4,200m3, level 4 distribution missions will require up to 8,000m3. |

Hisec distribution missions are ship dependent in the sense that the cargo can get too big for a combat ship and you need to make multiple trips or fly an Indy.
Losec distribution missions are not something to consider as a brand new player.

Got a 160 mill mining implant as a reward for a level IV Storyline combat mission a few weeks ago.
But I am like 9.9 standing with that agent. |

Lots of stuff in here and all of it is good information.
If you are going to mission you NEED this link, bookmark in every browser you use. http://eve-survival.org/wikka.php?wakka=missionreports
Find a good vet to help you along the way you ill need it at some point most likely as you first start level 3's and then lvl 4's. I am always willing to help but it is up to you, PM or in game mail if you are interested even if it is just a source for answering questions, although asking them here is excellent as the answers help others.
Now the biggest one and I am surprised that no one has covered this yet. Many missions, especially the story lines will send you against one of the 4 major factions (Gallente, Caldari, Amarr, Minmatar) , any mission that sends you against one of these 4 REFUSE it for now. WHY? Standings, I have seen far to many new players get into standing trouble because they run these missions and then they end up not able to enter space controlled by one or more of the 4 majors. Once you have done a study on standings and how they can affect your game play and where you can and cannot go then you can decide if it is right for you to accept these types of missions. |

I know this advice isn't particularly newbie-friendly, but the best ship for all courier missions, hisec or lowsec, L1-4, is a blockade runner. You are fast, nimble, and cloaky. As long as you don't do silly things like autopilot through Uedama or Deltole you'll be fine. The blockade runners are faster than any other ship (even frigates) capable of hauling the required volumes of materials for L1 missions (though you might be able to complete some distribution missions in a cargo-expanded interceptor or covops), and can be expanded out to about 9000m3 without requiring cargo rigs.
Working up to the blockade runners, you should be able to manage L1-3 distribution missions in the "blockade runner lite" T1 industrials (e.g.: the Wreathe or Sigil). Of course, as mentioned in the quote above you can handle L2 distribution missions in a max-cargo Probe. You won't be running L2 missions for long though, so set a goal of getting into the T1 agile hauler as quickly as possible, with an eye on getting into a blockade runner.
The fun of flying agile cloaky ships cannot be overemphasised.

Quick one...
I have the choice between L2 security or L3 distribution missions for a specific corp (the L3 security agent are un low sec and I am not going there yet)...
Which one should pay more ISK, PL and/or Standing?
I must say the L3 distribution missions are fast (about 10 mins each) but with a limited payout. On the other hand, security missions take longer but with a better reward and the possibility of salvage to enhance the ISK reward.

I don't know off the top of my head. You'll be able to answer the question quite quickly yourself though :)
Level 2 distribution missions were paying out about 0.4% standings increase, Level 3 distribution missions were paying out about 0.6% standings increase. Sadly I didn't record the LP and payouts for those, but from memory the L3 distribution missions pay about 100GÇô200k ISK, 200-300LP, with L2 security missions being in about the same ball-park.

Hello everyone!!!
So as I grow in the Eve Universe I am exposed to more situation...which generate more questions!
I read that people are looking for areas with a lot of relevant mission agents (L3 agents if you are running L3 missions). Why is it an advantage to have multiple available agents in the same area other then allowing the capacity to 'skip" more undesirable missions?
Also, how possible/practical is it to run multiple missions at the same time? What is the best way to do mission juggling?
Thanks!

Well, you kind of answered your own question there.
A. Multiple agents help to counter the 4h timer on declining a mission you don't want.
B. You can run multiple missions at once.

All right...but how is running more then one mission at a time an advantage? They will rarely, if ever, be located in the same area...right? |

No this is a thing people do it. It really just saves you the time it takes to dock and undock and maybe one warp but it saves some time if you do it correctly. Also I've hear of it with courier missions taking several so that you can travel in both directions with a load however I'm not sure how you do that well. |
