So is the weapon actually functioning on Sisi? Don't think I've seen it on any of the screen grabs I've seen.

They also might blame that whole Sansha thing on the Amarr as well. |

So it's a battleship hull (plenty of space, nice power grid), but the weapons are detached (thus not hooked into the nice power grid), but they're not drones (because reasons)?
It's like, a tank without a main gun, pulling a howitzer behind it so it can shoot. Bunch of soldiers come out of the tank, set up the howitzer, aim it, then go back in the tank, and the commander pushes the remote control fire button to shoot the howitzer.
It's stupid.
Maybe the standalone weapons combine into a superweapon, but then, why have a superweapon that's external and smaller than what the hull of the ship can accommodate, and why split it into a bunch of useless smaller turrets instead of keeping it together and firing all the time?
First thing we'll do as EVE players is try to bump the ship away from its turrets. The very concept is silly. |

What are you talking about? That battleship is going to be deployed in the most tactically unsound way possible, and with no strategy whatsoever. Whatever "advanced race" is controlling it, they're going to be morons at actually fighting or accomplishing anything with it.
Its weapons are stupid, and what they (the Sleepers or whoever) do with it will be, too. |

Kontos is Greek. The latin variant of Kontos was Contus. -_- not sure if Jovians use a mix-match of Latin and Greek, or CCP can't decide... Well the mix of latin and greek seems a lot like the naming conventions for organisms- which would make a LOT of sense for the Jovians to use to name their weapons, among other things.

First : Why would it makes that much sense - do we all of a sudden know that much about the Jove language, it's syntax and morphology ?
Second: naming conventions are done in binomial form using *latin grammar forms*, even if they are based on words from other languages (i.e. the word from the other language will have his form "latinized"). It is therefore called a *Latin Name*. Mix-match is not allowed.
