Welcome to the second installment of the NtV (Noob to Vet) Lottery.
First, some announcements. Due to not enough tickets having been sold, not many prizes were given away last draw (and those that were were given at a loss to me). Therefor, this time around, the draw will be done in two weeks. If that's still not enough, I will try a monthly draw next time. Also, for the enjoyment of our non-Amarr players, there are now industrials, frigates and destroyers for the 4 races, and I am working on procurement for Cruisers and up. I have also decided to pick the "best" ship for each class and for each race from now on. Where some are less valuable, I will give a cash prize to match the cost of the most expensive of the prizes in the class. For example: in the industrial class, we have the Bestower and the Iteron V. So if someone picks the Bestower, I will give him the ship and a certain amount to match the price of the Iteron. This affects the buy-back, of course, which will now be set at the cost of the most expensive ship in a class.
And now for the standard spiel:
In a nushell: Each two weeks I will give away one Tech 1 ship from each of the following classes: Frigate, Destroyer, Cruiser, Battlecruiser, Battleship and Industrial. In addition, each week, one Special Item (usually a Tech 2 ship) will be up for grabs. There are 40 "tickets" available for each class and the Special Item, with different costs for each class (so naturally, a ticket for the battleship prize costs more than one for the frigate). Upon buying a ticket, you can select a number if you so wish or just let me assign you one if you don't. You can buy as many tickets as you wish. Then, each two weeks, I will use Random.Org to generate a winning number (using the random integers generator) for each of the prizes and send an Eve-mail to the lucky winners as well as post the results here. The ships will be escrowed in the perfect safety of Amarr VIII (Oris) - Emperor Family Academy, for pickup at the convenience of their new owner.
Buy Back: If you prefer a monetary prize instead of a ship, I will buy back your prize at the cost indicated in each post with the prizes, ticket numbers and ticket prices.
How to enter: Post a message in this thread with the following information:
-Name of the character entering the draw (in case of multiple alts; this is the name I will make the escrow out to if you win).
-The class draws you wish to enter.
-The numbers you want for each class (check that they are available first) or just the number of tickets if you don't care which numbers you get.
-The total amount due for the tickets.
Example:
-Name: Deschenus Maximus
-Classes: Cruiser, Special
-Numbers:
For Cruiser: 1, 15
For Special: 38
-Amound total: 5M isk
Once this is done, I will send you an Eve-mail giving you the go-ahead for the fund transfer. Once I recieve the funds, I will send you another Eve-mail confirming that you are officially in the draw and will update the post to reflect this.
Multipack: Multipacks (one ticket in each class) cost 8,000,000.00 ISK this draw (a saving of 562,500.00 ISK).
What happens if not all the tickets for a draw are sold: One of two things:
-If there have been enough tickets sold to cover the buy-back value, I will simply go-ahead with the draw. I am doing this mainly for fun, so as long as I don't start losing money doing this, I'm cool.
-If there hasn't been enough tickets sold to cover the buy-back value, you will have to decide wether you want your ISK back or you want to keep your numbers for next week. Simply post in the thread with your decision, and I will give form to your wishes as promptly as I can. If you do not post your decision, I will assume that you want to keep your numbers for next week's draw.

Verification Process: The draws are done live in Eve on the channel "NtV Lottery"; this will be a mini-event each 2 weeks. To ensure the validity of the process, I will post here the results generated by Random.Org.
Example: Linkage
As we can see, the number generated would be "2". If you look into the URL, you can see that the ending is: randnum?num=1&min=1&max=40&col=1. "randnum?num=1" is the amount of numbers I want generated (here, just 1), "&min=1" is the lowest number that can be generated (again, 1), "&max=40" is the highest number generated (40, in our case) and "&col=1" is the number of columns I want the numbers to be displayed in (here again, just 1). You can also see the time it is here when I take the screenshot. I will announce the time it is here when I begin the draws, and will wait 1 minute between each draw so the order of the draws will be recognizable on the screenshot from the time it is on my computer when I generate the winning number.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is with great pleasure that I announce that we now have Cruisers and Battlecruisers for all the races now available*. Also, the selection of special prizes has been expanded (check out Military Connections...).
*I have decided to replace the Amarr Maller with the Arbitrator which is, overall, a much better ship. This meant that the Thorax became the most expensive ship and thus, the base for the buy back. The new buy-back is a bit lower, and thus I decided to lower the ticket prices accordingly. So as not to upset those who had already payed their ticket at the old price, I have given you all a further extra ticket for free. I hope that will be enough, and I apologise for the inconvenience.
