Hello,
So recently, I've been into scanning signatures in high sec, even managed to get some millions of isk out of it and blow 2 of my ships up.
The most interesting signatures to me are data, relic and some combat sites, I don't really go to other types (wormhole, gas), so once I've scanned them I'd like to exclude the signature from scanning permanently. However, when I choose a signature I want to get rid of and choose "ignore result" and then move to another system, once I'm back, it still is not scanned and I have to scan every signature again.
So there's the question, is there a way to exclude some signatures from being visible on the map so that I won't waste on scanning them every time I enter the system? I guess naming them would be ok as well, just a way to know that i.e. "This signature is a wormhole I've scanned down previously, no need to scan it again".

don't know about hiding them permanently, but if ya bookmark the location you scanned, just ignore it later when ya come back. and then delete the bookmarks when your done for the day. doesn't really answer your question, but its a work around I guess. |

short answer: no, unscanned sigs will always show at first until you get them to a strength where your filters can identify them.
Proposed solution for parts:
I BM sigs I scan and write their sigid into the notes section of the bookmark. That way when I come back into a system I can open the system map and look at the red sigs in space. With BMs I can easily see what sigs have BMs near them.
Also I label my BM's with the SigID as a prefix, so keeping the 'people and places' tab open lets me instantly ignore any previously seen BMs.
Techincally you can do this for wormhole sigs you ignore without scanning them all the way down too I guess. Just make a bm where you ship is and name it the Wormhole sig-id. |

As pointed out, you can bookmark all the signatures. You should include at least the first three characters of the signature ID and you can also use the date in your bookmark. You can go through afterwards and edit those to become safes once the signature has despawned (worm hole decayed, or combat site cleared, etc) r you can simply delete them if you have no need of more safes in that system.
You can also just note the signature idea in your in-game notepad or even on paper out-of-game if you don't want to be bothered to fully scan down the signature for bookmarking. Just note the system name and signature ID. For the in-game notepad you can simply drag the system name into the note and you just have to type in the sig ID manually.
There are all sorts of ways to record/track the info . |

If you don't want to scan them down all the way, you could also copy paste the sig id into your notes (or even use old fashioned pencil and paper) the id will never change, so you know that you can safely ignore that sig when you revisit the system. Once you notice the sig id disappearing you can clear it from your notes/bookmarks. |
