Would it be a bad idea to put Minimitar guns on a Crusader. The loss of tracking bonus and laser dmg from ship bonus doesn't seem that big of a deal since Minimitar guns have insanely fast tracking. Would having 4 150 II's with fast tracking and lots of crits because of that fast tracking (also alot easer to fit) be good on a Crusader?

No, because you'd be outdamaged by an AC Claw and outranged and outdamaged by a laser Crusader.
A 25% damage bonus and 37.5% tracking bonus on four turrets isn't something to throw away lightly, unless you can be absolutely certain that EM will utterly suck against your planned target.

Losing a bit of damage but tripling your armor can certainly be worth it.

It would be a poor excuse for a claw.
It would also be a poor excuse for a punisher.

Focus less on the Claw analogy and more on the laser 'sader. As the fastest interceptor in the game your advantage is to dictate range to every other.
If you're forced to fight at omgcrazyclaw ranges, your main advantage has already been lost. You also can't fight at said range as effectively as a Claw, because he has a 37.5% tracking bonus over you.
Deviating from the norm shows creative thought and can win you battles you otherwise can't. Doing it without considering any consequence beyond damage is both naive and suicidal.

I think you underestimate creativity. Obviously, just dropping the lasers and fitting ACs without giving the rest of the ship any thought is stupid. If you build your setup around ACs though, you will notice that AC Crusaders are just better in nearly every situation.
Range is not an advantage or disadvantage if you pick your battles. There is no such thing as dictating range if you cannot fit a web. Obviously you can drop your MWD for a web, but then you have to avoid every long range inty, not to mention the other disadvantages that come with losing your MWD.
Furthermore, i think you underestimate the range that Claws can reach with Tech2 ammo. You hit everything within 10km, much like Gatlings with Scorch can. Let's not bring up switching damage types, which especially against the usual plated interceptor is a huge advantage.

I am not going to lie. I have 2.5 mil skill points and have spent most of my time on learning skills. Would someone be willing to help me outfit a AC Crusader. I am pretty newbie when it comes to what items do what and what would be good to equip on a ship. I have the ISK to do it I just have no idea what I'd actually use especially in something out of the norm. I'd look in the ship fitting guids but I didn't see anything out there on questions like this, which is why I asked.
I will check this post often or my in game character name is Sam Haine I am not sure why he didn't come up when I logged in.
I changed my name to my main character I didn't know how to do this at first when I posted undet the name Erash Ican.

Thought about it a couple of times, but since I can fly both claws and zaders, never really bothered fitting projectiles on amarr ceptors!
If we compare a crusader using projs to a claw, we get :
pro claw: 12.5% better dmg output 37.5% better tracking Extra hi Slightly higher speed out of mwd
pro zader: better armor (not counting better shields as a plus for claw) much better capacitor Slightly better mwd speed Slightly better manouvrability
There are other minor differences (locking times and range ...) but this should provide a fair basis to compare (dunno which one has the better hull hp) ___________________________________________

downgrade to 150mm AC, better tracking so you can drop tracking enhancer.
Find a way to fit a T2 mwd, speed is life on an inty (or at least go for a catalyzed arcjet)
But with the kind of fitting you're building, it might really be worth it to train 10 days for a claw! they're cheap and you'll unlock other minnie T2 frigs, really worth it unless you've got rp or aesthetical reasons to stick to amarr! ___________________________________________

Is it better to use 150's over 200's the dmg difference is .32x between the two and I think if I am reading it right 200's track faster than 150's
To keep the 200's I drop the tracking enhancement

If your bound and determined to give AC's a shot, 150's over 200's. Better tracking, minimal Damage per shot loss. Again, if you find you like the 150's, try 125's(i fit these on my rifters, hardly ever miss), same again, greater Tracking, minimal dmg loss per shot. EMP(Break Shields) and Barrage should be your ammo types. Tech 2 ammo makes the difference for AC's imo for close range PvP.

Would using tech 2 afterburner be ok for PVP over MWD to save on CPU and Grid?
Sorry I really want to make this work and after spending months training I am ready to do this. Thanks in advance for all your help its REALLY appreciated.

Barrage is not necessary when close range.

Yes it is. Barrage does the same damage as EMP, but at far greater ranges. It should be your default ammo when using ACs. The only time you should use EMP or Phased Plasma is when exploiting a resistance hole. ----------------------------------------

Used to fly Crusader with 150mm Light Autocannon II a good while ago after watching DrunkenOne`s Jaegerbomber vids and since i couldn`t fly Claw back then, but could use the guns i gave it a try.
150mm Light Autocannon II AB/Mwd, 7.5k Scrambler Small Repper II, 400mm Plate, 2x other (MAPC, CPR, Gyros, Nanofiber, etc)
This is my lazy attempt to make an uber-signature, please go away!
