I'm just curious as to what the most efficient ship for hitting the various L4 empire epic arcs would be. Would a Rattlesnake be the best idea or maruader? or maybe something smaller? |

should be, i have done both amarr and caldari in a navy apoc so a rattlesnake should breeze through.

I'm currently running the lvl 4 amarr arc and find that a Paladin is overkill up to this point, though i'm only about half way through it.
There are neuts and lots of ewar, but so far the neuts haven't been anything crazy and the neuting towers go down easy.
I would think that a Rattlesnake would work great, given the selectable damage.
What I have noticed though is that these rats seem to hate drones. Every time I drop hobs to deal with scramming frigs 2-3 of them get eaten. So in that regard, not sure how a rattlesnake would do.

don't get complacent , that way lies hilarious losses.
i can think of two or three rooms in various parts of that arc that will have you watching the bastion cycle time veeeery carefully whilst sweating bullets.
it should be fine just be sure about checking triggers

Yup, i'm trying very hard to take it slow and make sure I don't get stuck in the middle of a bastion cycle when something bad spawns, but even then I don't think anything has brought be down past 80% armor, and with bastion running I rep 40% per cycle.

The entire Gallente Epic Arc can be done in a Domi or any of the Marauders. I like the Vargur, but to each their own.
The others require multiple ships. For Caldari you are going to need something small and cloaky for the LS part, for Minmatarr there is a bit of hacking involved so a cov ops or a T3.
T3 is nice because you can tank while hacking, and one of the Min missions will have substantial DPS.
Personally, Vargur/Loki team is great for the arcs. The SoE arc can be done in just about anything but its really really long. |

I used a tengu.. you travel quite a bit so flying a cruiser is better than abs.. and it can blitz them really well..

I've done all 4 in a Kronos and Paladin. Marauders are overall easy mode for the epic arcs. The Gallente still punches pretty hard. Overall however, the bastion cycle negates much of the EWAR that traditionally made some of the arcs more of a challenge. |

Do epic arc missions reduce your standing with opposing factions. e.g completing Gallente arc reducing standing with Amarr? |

No, and they don't boost standings with any of the friends of that faction either. They are a straight up 12.5% to the faction you complete if you take the appropriate mission path. Or 8% to any one of the major factions If you complete the Sister's Arc. |

Ive used a golem on an alt. I would recommend a MJD so when you get to the frigates you jump out 100kms and drop sentries, they will pick the frigates off with out losses.

Simply take your ship into angel extravaganza bonus room and if you manage to survive for 3++ minutes without using a mjd, your ship will easily handle all combat epic arc missions. I used a t2 domi for the epic arcs and I think I met the hardest hitters in the gallente epic arc and I had to warpout in the last combat mission of the caldari one (too much jamming, poor fitting). The rest I cant remember. |
