Are you a GOD DAMN HERO? Are you tired of your super serious corp who simply cannot take a joke? Why not join the least professional corp in New Eden, where it is cool to sell loki alts and buy them back 6 months later, or to waste money on a brand new mic that is just as crappy as your old one?
New Eden Renegades is a PvPPPPPPPPP corp who make it our pride and joy to not take anything in this game serious, at all.
The main aspect is to have fun. We don't want to hold space, spend endless hours bashing a POS or spend hours camping a gate waiting for noobships. We simply want to get online and shoot stuff. Or stay offline and talk **** on TS3.
We base out of highsec and engage in player vs extreme blob activities in the surrounding area. We will usually engage anything if we can snag some kills / have a fight!
Typical gang size is around 5-10 but can go even smaller depending on numbers. The idea behind a gang is to have a load of people exploding be it them or us. We do all kinds of gangs, from shield hero fleets to armor cruiser fleets.
We are currently basing out of Agil as it puts us far closer to the action. This is highsec and as such you kinda need at least -4.9 sec status to not get blapped by other pilots. Most of our pvp is happening in 0.0 atm as there appear to be less risk averse plex farmers in Brave Newbies home system.
We basically hop into a fast, fun gang comp and roll around the spaceplanes of New Eden (like real renegades) wearing our digital pirate hats, wizard hats, TF2 hats and any other kind of hat we can squeeze on (OR MONOCLE IF THAT IS YOUR THING)
As a fully fledged RENEGADE OF NEW EDEN you are expected to : - talk loudly on comms (maybe a little singing) - interrupt the FC wherever possible - be self sufficient - not be a super serious neckbeard (its a game) - not be afraid to die (it happens sometimes apparently) - BE A MOTHERLOVING CHAMPION OF ALL THAT IS RUSTY AND REPRESSED
We can provide pointers on how to make isk using alts etc but no handouts will be given. Earn your own damn isk.
We base out of Agil and are mainly EU timezone. Most of the funtimes happens between downtime and 0000 eve time.
Here is our corp killboard and our NO CORP FORUM ATM (RENEGADES are expected to shiptoast on here as much as possible - communication is key remember!)
Our public chat is:
RENEGADES OF NEW EDEN
We offer:
- Experienced players who have T-shirts for almost every activity ingame! - Potentially great fights (these also happen apparently) - Hero FCs and recruitment post writers - Corp ship programs (cheap fit thrashers/catalysts/rifters to suicide at your nearest blob!) - Lots of fun and laughter (no ponies though)
YOU MUST HAVE:
- AT LEAST BE ABLE TO FLY A CRUISER WITH T2 WEAPONS - Lots of isk or an ability to make isk. We don't run corp isk making ops. THIS ISN'T SOME RENTER ALLIANCE FFS... - Have teamspeak 3 installed and a working mic - Some PvP experience would be nice (seeing as this is a PvP corp and all) - BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, willingness to learn from mistakes and have fun (also sense of humour is kind of needed to survive)
Interested in flying with us or joining? Join our public chat or hop on our public TS (details in motd of chat) and have a talk to me or Cyber Ten or any other of our members.
Logistics are available and JF runs are made often for restocks =)
For many common gang comps, the corp (ie the bank of Cyber Ten) will buy and move prefitted ships to our locale. These will be sold at Jita cost so there is almost always no reason to come and whelp a ship.
Even if you dont want to join, but still fancy roaming or having a chat, come into our pub channel and say hello anyway. We happily accept people into fleet if they are cool.
Catch you later! |

Hosted an RvB roam in memory of a now deceased corpmate (may he find eternal drake roams in the great wildlands beyond death) and got bombed into oblivion.
Don't understand why people like being bombed, 0/10.
If you also don't understand why anyone wants to be bombed, join Renegades of New Eden today for a slightly exploded drake and good conversation. |

My bumping skills are only as good as my logi skills.
Took out blaster harpies, fought the gatecamps in HED-GP and killed a prophecy and prowler (who managed to bump off the center of an anchorable bubble or something and decloaked...) and then died to Caracals in Providence.
Nearly as good as accidentally putting my cyno in Arton, taking obvious bait and having them undock triage carriers to rep up their baitship. Would take bait again. |

Arranged a fight with Spectre Fleet when they said they were doing ****** santa. Expected them to bring about 100-200, but something good was on TV and they only brought 40 making our fleet completely overpowered and the fight very short. These things happen. Next time we'll have something less overpowering on standby "just in case" they don't get the expected numbers.
The battle-report makes us look almost good at this game given that we're in like, actual ships and stuff. This isn't what we do.
We also got wardec'd by some people. They obviously didn't do any research on us as they seem to think that we're taking this wardec seriously. Bless.

Interviewed some guy who decided that we "looked like a nice casual corp" today. Surprisingly hard to do so, given that we were discussing the wonders of the human digestive system (and whether carrots had some miraculously ability to grow inside you, as to ensure that they were perpetually leaving you). For some reason he didn't leave our comms and ended up being hired, so we have a new member to welp gloriously into battle.
Within about 30 minutes of him joining, we had him in a ship and were pointing him in the direction of HED-GP to go find something to kill. HED-GP was all clear, but we found an interceptor gang in SV5 that we didn't engage, discovered that BRAVE had timers in GE-8JV that meant that there were actual fleets flying around that we couldn't easily kill, found a GCLUB caracal gang, some confessor/dictor gang, another interceptor gang, a kitchen sink of cruisers and found out that the guys in BUZ-DB will warp carriers and marauders off of the station if you poke them hard enough. The only regret we have is that we didn't have any friends big enough to kill the Archon that we could have tackled and that we ended up going back to HED-GP to play gate pounce games, where everyone tries to guess the destination of the next pounce that the ships go to.
No fights, no battle-reports, not even a video, so I'll just leave a promise that I'll make some soundcloud clips of our sheer competence on Saturday, where we discovered that MTUs will harvest cargo containers if and when you drop them and that no one in NER has Anchoring 3 on their combat toon. |

Took triple rep hyperions into HED-GP again to fight a gang of what we were told was about ten cruisers. It turned out to be only threeT1cruisers, a faction cruiser and a battlecruiser. Kudos to them for giving me the opportunity to try and manage my cap a bit better despite the fact that hyperions can essentially permatank that gang. I think I ran one rep for the entire fight and that was it. Projectiles are obviously in need of a buff. After that fight was over, we made a hype train on the gate and sat around for ten minutes waiting to see what would happen.
Friends all left because it was so late at night and I ended up sitting there until HONOR showed up with tons of light tackle and frigates and a Proteus that was screaming BAIT! to my warning lights (which aren't always used. No idea if the Proteus was bait but I decided that caution was the better part of valour. Will remember to log in BRAVE spai to find out what they're doing next time, as to not expect them to have blops sat there waiting for me to reaggress.
Not a bad end to a long day of diplomatic negotiations with this corp that have apparently been paid to wardec us. |

A corpmate was bored of making NC and SYS-K run away from us in HED-GP and has been looking around our current home area of Agil to find out what was going on in other places. He found a small mining gang and promptly set to killing them, only to be ganked by a response fleet. He pinged us all on Teamspeak, told us that they mined lots, and told us he was flying to Amarr to fit up a bait prophecy.
Okay, we can do this. I poke everyone on teamspeak and poke everyone ingame, continue poking everyone everywhere and eventually there's enough people lying around (all 5 of us) that I feel comfortable. This is good timing as Jintra has made his way all the way to Amarr and bought himself a max-tank bait prophecy with neuts to get their attention.
He warps it into the belt, tell us he warped to the wrong belt, tries again, is still failing like a bad and I'm about to tell everyone to go home when he announces he's now at the right belt and he's slowboating towards the mining fleet. He doesn't have a prop mod (because he wants that double scram double web fit) and this could take some time, when a proteus decloaks next to him and aggresses. Everyone jumps into system and warps to him and land just as a phantasm and pilgrim land on him. The pilgrim cloaks up, the phantasm gets tackled and I hero tackle one of the Procurers. As we start burning through everything, the Prophecy reports that the Proteus is no longer shooting it. This is awesome, as it buys us more time to kill everything else first. The Pilgrim pilot is watching his overview properly and bumps off of me, decloaking him, allowing us to burn him down ridiculously quickly.
Prophecy hits 50% armor as their reinforcements begin to land (mostly Vexor Navies, but with some Phantasms and other support mixed in). I call something primary and tell anyone that isn't primaried to warp out as the Vexor Navy we're primarying enters structure. I nearly manage to get out (just another 500m!) but most of us die. Jintra, weirdly enough, survives. How on earth a max-tank fat-ass prophecy in structure manages to warp off when there's 15 or so enemies on grid is beyond me, but who am I to object?
228m lost, 970m killed. 100% worth. |
