Hey all
Just researched the Contracting trade skill. 'This skill allows you to create formal agreements with other characters.
For each level of this skill the number of outstanding contracts is increased by four (up to a maximum of 21 at level 5)'
But now i cant seem to figure out how it works? do i use it with AI that offer missions to get a boost from them? is it only used with other EVE players?

It is for selling and buying from other players. Some things, like fitted ships and blueprint copies, can not be sold on the market. Someone may have a specific list. Contracts can be handy for moving assets between characters as well as corpmates.
Open up "Contracts" under "Business" on the neocomm and look around.

You cannot use it with AI that offer missions to get a boost from them. The skill that increases those things are "Negotation(increased ISK payout from a mission)" and "Security/mining(i think thats what its called) connections(Increased LP payout from a mission)"
Its only used with other EVE players. To use contracts, right click an item in a station, and click "Create contract". Its mainly used to sell items in bulk, sell items that cant be sold on market, and sell fitted ships with rigs, where you dont want to destroy the rigs but still want to sell the ship. |

Contracts are Player 2 Player exchanges.
There are 3 types of contracts you can issue:
* Item exchange - Basically move an Item in exchange for another item / money / nothing from Player A to B.
* Auction - As it says, auction off an item to the highest bidder.
* Courier - This means, give an item to another player for him to move it from station A to B for you, for an "x" amount of ISK. Safety feature is that you can put in a collateral, which is transfered to you when the hauler loses your item, steals it, can't finish the job.
Contracts can be issued on a personal and corporate level.
As for missions: Social category skills affect missions.
