So, I've done a fair amount of DeD sites and cosmic anomalies in highsec and one DeD in lowsec (couldn't find any more at the time)
When you complete the regular cosmic anomalies quickly and efficiently you can get faction spawns semi reliably but they *almost* never drop anything except for a tag and ammo. I have only ever gotten a Dread Gurista BCU and a True Sansha EANM.
I've been considering doing lowsec anomalies in some backwater system or another, but I have a question. Since you don't complete sites nearly as fast as in highsec, and because you're supposed to get more reward for risk, do faction spawns in lowsec have a higher chance of dropping things other than a tag and ammo? If it's anything like highsec I could burn through 40 sites and never see an actual faction module drop but get like 5 escalations.
Also, what's a good caldari or amarr battlecruiser to do it in? I don't want to risk anything more expensive than that getting crap isk ratting in lowsec, I really just want to see what sort of faction modules I can find and maybe some deadspace loot from an escalation or two. |

Commander spawns are random as is the loot. Each commander has a loot table that is draws from. I've gotten plenty of ammo and tags only commander spawns in null. |

For a better chance at getting Faction loot just concentrate on the Cosmic Signature combat sites and escalations.
Cosmic Anomalies can be used as 'filler' sites when you can't find any Cosmic Signature combat sites. As for the loot from the Commander spawns, that's pretty much random. Their wrecks do have a good chance to drop Tech 2 salvage. Of course the escalations from them will usually net some Faction loot as well but will place you in hostile systems.
In the past I'd get a lot of Gistii Afterburners and Microwarpdrives. I'd just stockpile them up til I had a good sizable amount, then sell them in Regional Markets or Public Contracts and buy other types of Faction mods. You might wanna consider doing that.

As for what BC, really depends on your skills. Drake will be a strong choice because of its tank. The naga and oracle can do anaomolies fine by warping at 100 and sniping, but won't last long in a DED site. Prophecy if you have drone and missile skills. |
