[36] - Quote also having launcher issues. received this message: Remote Info-file could not be fetched. http://client.eveonline.com/patches/premium_patchinfoTQ_inc.txt Please check your internet-connection. If the problem persists, please contact Customer Support by filing a petition. however, i was able to log into game as follows: for mac users: open finder click on "applications" highlight "eve online" double tap and then select "show package contents" open the resources library then click on the eve online icon (with the 14.36 gb file). that should load the old log in screen. |

[38] - Quote I completely freaked I'm ashamed to say. A couple of billion ISK stranded in space with an unknown connection issue I got a nice reply from GM Akilian stating that my ship 'appears to be intact' and that they are aware of the issue and are looking into it. Obviously I don't like the fact something has happened but I'm more than happy that they're doing something about it in a timely fashion. In training since January 2007... |

[42] - Quote It is possible to bypass the EVE Launcher. This is accomplished by navigating to the EVE Client application, and starting it. On Windows the EVE Client application can be found at \CCP\EVE\bin\exefile.exe On Mac OS X the EVE Client application can be found at Contents/Resources/Eve Online.app inside the primary EVE Online application. On Mac OS X you can run the client (cider) directly by running /Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/EVE Online.app/Contents/MacOS/cider NOTE: this is not a supported use case, and is only to be used in extreme circumstances. |

EDIT: For the record, unable to use launcher but managed to get in with the bin .exe file. Good call. I can launch the game from bin\exefile.exe knowing this I will only have to use the launcher to update the game. The bitter vet in me hates that thing. The drop-down box has a weird zoom effect that messes with my OCD and seems to cause problems like this one here. |

[44] - Quote I was playing when it went down. Said something about being removed from socket. Then nothing. Launcher was giving the offline mode only. Then nothing but a white box. I have tried the repair tool and it doesnt work. Uninstalled and downloaded the client again with all the same results |

[52] - Quote (Looks at tower fuel) I, like others, am also down. I get a variety of responses from the launcher. Sometimes, I get a straight Offline Mode response. Other times, I get a white frame, followed by some sort of missing file report; as if it is looking for some sort of online manifest file. These two instances are the predominate responses.
