Buy a shuttle. Fly to second station. Pick up new ship. Sell or reprocess shuttle (or just leave it there). Fly back to first station in new ship.

This is sadly the mosty common way to transport ships. However, there are more complicated ways to move your ships. First, you can repackage your shuttle and bring it along to your new station. A packaged ship fill much less than an assembled ship and can fit into the cargo bay of larger ships. Second (and very complicated, to me at least!) you can escrow the ship to be transported by another player and he then follows the same rules as above, but at a higher price, of course! |

Have in mind though, that if you repackage your ship, you will loose the rest of any insurance you might have on the ship. I found out the hard way

also note that industrial ships (large cargo holds) can't be trained for on trial account

There's also the pod-dock. You click "Dock" on the station, when you're 15km or whatever out. Your ship starts flying towards the station to dock. Then you click on your ship and select "eject." It will ask you to confirm the eject. Wait until your ship has reached the station and a text box pops up saying "Your docking request has been expected, your ship will be now be towed into the station..." Right then hit "yes" on the confirmation to eject. Your ship will still dock but you'll be left floating outside the station in your pod.
Should not be attempted if you are in low sec or have a war declared against your corp, but otherwise you should be safe.
Of course your pod is REALLY slow, only goes like 150 m/s. Shuttles are a lot faster, they go between 500-600 m/s depending on your skills. Pod-docking is probably only useful if you are moving a bunch of ships in one system, or want to grab a random shuttle or frigate someone left floating outside a station empty.

Last I heard the "pod-dock" method was considered to be an exploit that CCP gives a big frowny face to.
