A week ago I chose to drop all roles and not allow new roles and went through a 24 stasis (yes, I did choose quit corp multiple times throughout the day and the counter went all the way down). Well the recruitment process of the new corp took longer than expected and they are just now sending an invite, but it says I have roles.
Roles
That link shows the different messages I get. I cannot even enter stasis as it won't let me drop roles, but it even says I am flagged for no new roles.
It seems I am stuck in my corporation forever.
[Edit] Here is what I see at the bottom where you can typically leave a corp:

Have you tried selecting "Leave Corporation" yet?
The Corporation interface is pretty bad and prone to glitches.
"The Skillpoint System and You"
"How did you Veterans start?"

I haven't because I do not want the NPC corp on my record.

I sent an application to my solo corp, and my alt got this message when trying to accept my invitation:
Corp Invite
Sigh, I would be fine at this point with going through a second stasis if I could initiate one. |

are you the CEO of the corp? I've never done corp management but I could see how maybe if you are CEO that you would need to either disband the corp or hand over CEO to someone else. At least that would make sense to me not sure if it works that way or not. |

I am not. It is a large corporation actually, and I am just a peon.
It just seems like a bug. I have already been through stasis, have new roles disabled; yet I still have roles and cannot re-enter stasis.
Since I do officially have roles, and cannot drop them, I am going to assume I cannot even quit to a NPC corp.
I am going to have to wait for a two week petition it seems just to leave a corp. |

As a member of a corporation you can now quit a corporation instantly without waiting the 24 hours after dropping roles. This applies to both DUST and EVE players. When we released DUST leaving a corporation worked the same as in EVE, drop roles, wait 24 hours, leave corporation. When we started getting feedback from the community about how bad this was and we looked into it what we could do abou it, we realized that this was initially done way back in the day for technical reasons. Upon more research we realized those technical restrictions no longer applied. So we removed this requirement from DUST... and EVE. Because why not.
The other restrictions, such as being docked, do still however apply when attempting to quit a corporation.
Kicking someone still requires removing their roles and waiting 24 hours, and you must still be docked in a station to quit a corporation.
This corporation change also shipped on May 6th [2013, Retribution 1.2]. |

I appreciate you trying to help, but in the first post I had mentioned I had tried that as well. No one can invite me because I have roles. I cannot drop my roles because it gives me an error.
I should not have any roles to begin with considering I dropped all roles a week ago and chose not to allow new ones to be assigned. |

Ok, so as I have said, I could not drop my roles, because I was not allowed to accept new roles.
I decided to allow new roles and then immediately dropped my roles, and it worked. Now I have to go through a SECOND 24 hour stasis period. I have a ticket open, but as slow as the support system is there is almost no way I am going to have that removed. |

[Edit] I tried inviting myself to my solo corporation again; now the message is one telling me there is a 23 hour stasis.
Essentially, this means that the block new roles does not work at all. Again there is no stasis.
I tested this last evening before posting.
You can immediately leave corp after dropping roles.
If you are experience something different, please bug report it. |

You can drop to a NPC corp, but not another player corporation. |
