Due to circumstances beyond my control, the publication on the latest I-RED developments were majorly delayed. This publication includes both the Silen raid last week as the recent search & rescue for Jordan Kaine.
I-RED chases sabotage suspects across New Eden
With that done, It's sad to hear that the lawyer I assigned to Mr Jordan Kaine to assure his safety, in light of the Internal Watch rather harsh treatment of personnel, has perished during a pirate raid on the transport. An investigation team of the Arcology has been sent to verify this, but doubtful if anything comes up, lowsec space is notorious for leaving very little tracks.
In this light, I wish to apologize to Eran Minto, for he transferred these refugees to me, with the guarantee of their safety. While they are all still alive, 2 in Arcology medbay and two safe at I-RED, his main concern was Jordan Kaine, as he was obviously sought by I-RED. The lawyer was assigned to make sure he would be treated well, but alas, with his death, there's only the word of I-RED to go by.

This issue of the treatment of prisoners is at the heart of all of this isn't it?
As I recall, I-RED was roundly praised by many in this Summit not so long ago for their development efforts in Syndicate. No small controversy was raised over I-RED's execution of prisoners who were deemed by them to be a malign influence.
Is that substantively different than what Anslo threatened to do to captured I-RED personnel?
You're offering to intercede on the behalf of State citizens. I know in the past you have personally been willing to see to the exchange of Federation prisoners. What makes them so different than the people executed by I-RED in Syndicate? Nevermind the "killing fields" everyone is so shocked by now... what about the locals I-RED admitted to killing? |

Please point out where we admitted to killing any colonists. I can find multiple places where the assumption was made that "sanitizing" means "killing", but I guarantee you we never admitted to killing the colonists. That is simply what you and others in that thread wanted to believe, because it's more convenient for your ideals to think we simply go around killing those we're trying to help.
The process of sanitizing the contracted colonies had nothing to do with murdering anybody in them. Any casualties were mentioned publicly in the original post. We rounded up those with verifiable connections to the Serpentis and removed them from the affected colonies, along with other rabble-rousers and ringleaders of civil unrest. They were moved to our holding facility, then scheduled for release on the next outbound Interbus transport to Poitot. Those who attempted to return to their former homes were prevented from doing so by the same process repeated again.

While I commend those willing to pay for the lives of individuals who may be captured, I cannot condone it. Such actions simply give pirates and terrorists the will to continue to commit these acts.
At this time Ishukone-Raata observers have been dispatched to aid Ishukone-Raata Accounting & Transport [A civilian subsidiary of I-RED] in determining if anyone has indeed been captured by Scope Works. I-RAT's CEO Leela 'Angel' so far has only confirmed the deaths of two individuals in a completely unrelated assault by Mortuus. in U4-Q2V on the 24th.

I plead on behalf of any prisoners taken by either side, but I am only willing to risk personal indemnity for fellow State citizens. I am a mere combat pilot, after all, and was hoping Anslo and Deitra would be kind enough not to bankrupt me.
Personally, my issue was not whether IRed deserves Anslo's ire, but whether or not the prisoners deserve mercy.

I'm sure we can both agree that all prisoners deserve some length of mercy and respect. However most individuals don't know the meaning of either word.

I'm sure we can both agree that all prisoners deserve some length of mercy and respect. However most individuals don't know the meaning of either word. And you see, that's your problem. You rely on some foolish misplaced sense of moral superiority based on deeds done for a pathetic Empire who has a large chunk of Megacorp that simply despises you. You no longer have the power militarily you once did, you sure as **** no longer have the connections you did (i.e. when TISHU used you all as scout pets), yet you still talk this big talk like it's going to make things better.
Here's a newsflash for you, Johnny boy. It's your nose in the air attitude that's gonna get more people killed. It's your holier-than-thou talk that will cause people to die. So go ahead and try to talk down to me all you want (though how you think you can talk down to me is laughable at best). But at the end of the day, there's nothing you can do except talk. But hey, your ego is intact! So what else matters right?
You better hope we don't catch more I-RED ships during combat ops. Their crew is gonna fair a lot worse than they would have if you and your little alliance would just keep your mouths shut.
And to those about to post saying I'm throwing a childish tantrum? Oh well. Keep talking. It's not like you can do anything to stop me. I'd actually like to see that happen.
Please.
Try.

I merely speak the truth. My moral superiority is not based on my duty to my corporation, but the will to remain as one of the few stable entities in our community. You spout about justice everywhere I look, but you do not follow through.. you simply destroy, kill, and bloat your own ego with hollow words.. A common criminal with far to much power.
Your narrow-minded view of strength through sheer force and might on the battlefield will be your downfall. I can safely say the strength of my corporation, the strength of the Caldari people, and the strength of my comrades.. no, family come from their sense of duty to a cause that will outlast your simple barbaric urges to hurt others for your own twisted pleasure.
