It seems some CSM members lose their enthusiasm for the game during their tenure. I'm thinking of players like Ripard Teg and FunkyBacon - knowledgeable, influential content creators who became disillusioned.
I'd rather vote for someone who is likely to enjoy the experience.

I have no idea why you would think that way.
In my mind, I would strongly prefer to have someone in a position of power who thinks about the things that I think about and cares about the things I care about in the ways that I think and care about them.
Do I care if it's hard work to do that? No. I do not. Do I care if the person enjoys it? No. I do not. Do I care if the person burns out half way through the term? No. I do not.
Being an elected official in a game the size of EvE is hard work. It is supposed to be hard.
I have no qualms with Ripard or FunkyBacon. They worked hard, and they cared about what they were doing. In my opinion, this is not at all abad thing.
I don't agree with either of them about everything, but I like the fact that they worked hard enough to not play CSM like it was a walk in the park.

OMG! Like lambs to the slaughter. I had no idea. The price we pay for a trip to Iceland.
Treason never prospers. What is the reason?
Why, if it prospers, none dare call it "treason."

Those two and the kid who makes the fun videos are the top three with all my accts. The other eleven are just random picks. I don't know if they're 'enjoying the experience', but they've proven themselves in the past and have some solid ideas for a balanced game. As well, the kid is doing a one-man recruitment drive that rivals the little bees and other large blocks.

It's a game, Serene. There is no slaughter.
Real life U.S. politics? Yes. Absolutely. A waste of misinformed time. But this isn't that.
