*Camera activates showing Eli standing tall on what looks like a bridge of some form of ship, over his head on the far wall is the ships name, "Rimam Vish TagulmatalbGÇ¥ (Devoted Sword of Reclaiming) behind Eli there is a Brutor and an Amarrian, in immaculate dress, the Brutor's left side of his face is covered in tribal tattooGÇÖs, and the Amarrian has several scars along his face, they all share the same stance as Eli, standing with military purpose, in the background there are several others in the same spotless uniforms, toiling over consoles and screens, then Eli begins to talk*
Arrogant whelp.. Because I do not understand the evil we are capable of? Vincent Pryce.. You know nothing of me.. My family was massacred by our kind working for the Sani Sabik, they were brutally murdered, every last one.. I am the last of my line, and when my father put out the call for help, a capsuleer received it, and he ignored it.. The only reason i am alive is because of the sacrifice of my father, mother and our loyal crew, as they gave my old slave time to escape with me.. I served with His navy for 27 years as a marine where i lost hundreds and thousands of fellow soldiers and friends to our kind before i was even counted amongst you.. *A tear rolls down his cheek as Eli stands straight and prouder* And now that I am one, i wish to destroy the evil in our ranks, i wish to defend those which can not defend themselves, i wish to use this gift to fight the evils that encroach upon His domain, i wish for nothing other then to spread His divine light throughout the cluster and serve Him for all time, and for this, for this Vincent Pryce you threaten your wrath upon me? For this you threaten to attack one of your own who means only good because you do not agree with my vision of a peaceful future? I sincerely hope not.. Otherwise do not speak as if you are an archangel, as they represent hope and His light! But betters Vincent Pryce? You claim to be my better and an archangel as you threaten one of His loyal because he believes we can be more.. No.. You are not my better, sister Kernher is, but even our betters do not get to say what they want when they seek to destroy the only thing that is keeping New Eden together.
As for my words towards sister Kernher, i do not have to apologise, I will not apologise for standing up for His light when some forget what it means to be His warriors.. We do not have the right, so fine, if you believe me the villain because i am the only one who apparently wants something better for the people of New Eden, His people! Then you are no warrior of His light, sister Kernher is however and knowns how devoted i am to His divinity, i have agreed with her on almost every matter before this, and i will not back down, but please, if you think that makes me worth of being a target, then by all means go a head and prove you are nothing but one of the monsters you vision all of us to be, and prove you are no better then Nauplius and his kind, I fight, live and one day i will die in His name, for His people, and to spread His divinity.
Sister Kernher, i am not sorry for expressing my views, i am sorry however for insulting you in anyway, but you have no right to call me a monster because some of us are, you have no right to claim you speak for Him, and you have no right to judge me because i believe i can use this for the betterment of New Eden.. While the Empyrean age may be a dark age, that does not mean we sit back and let it be so.. IT means we have a chance to spread His divine light to those who need it.. And as Lord Shutaq has said, we are the only reason Sansha did not destroy the cluster and enslave it.. We are needed.. We are the only thing that can protect His light and people against the things to come.
I am sorry that you do not all believe that serving Him and His realm forever is a sin and not a worthy choice.. But it is my choice.. An no threat from Vincent Pryce will derail that.. as i stand for His light, not for your approval.
His warriors should never admit defeat! Should never doubt! should never back down!
Thank you Ms. Starfall.. All i want is to make a future for His people.. And.. I am sorry..
And thank you all of you for having faith in a better future..
*Eli bows as do both the officers behind him, as he comes back up his face in empty.. His Brutor officer moves closer to Eli and says something inaudible and Eli nods, and the feed goes dark*

I.. I apologise sister Kernher, I was going of your original comments.. I know you wish to defend His light.. You have shown that countless times, even though we have never actually met or spoken I know this, but your original comment.. It seemed as you had given up in a way.. And i know you have fought i have seen your records, i hope i can one day be there alongside you, but once again i refer to my previous comment about how your comment sounded, that was all.. And i am sorry for seeming as if i was doubting you.
All i have left is faith sister.. Faith is all we need.. And with it, we can bring hope..
I am sorry sister, i sincerely am, for any insult towards you, may you serve His light forever.

So, before this gets too far out of hand.... I'm assuming we all agree that Nauplius has gone too far and needs to be kept in check in some way?
All he's doing is fueling the flames of conflict, rather than seeking an actual solution to his perceived problems. If he is allowed to continue he can fan the flames of war up to a critical point. I'd have to add that the Gallente Federation most likely has also been keeping their eyes on this, not just the Republic, not to mention the many dissapproving voices in both the Khanid and Ammatar ranks as well.
Unless the Amarr as a whole take a stand against this this can get very ugly very quickly.
If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

He's not an archangel in the religious sense of the word which you seem to have inferred. You've heard of the Angel Cartel, yes? I assure you 'angelic' is not an adjective used by many individuals to describe that particular organization.

We're the only ones that have.
If you mean by the actual national governments... Grand Inquisitor Omel of the Ministry of Internal Order has already in the past condemned these kind of slave blood sacrifices. It was blood sacrifices that got the Sani Sabik cult declared heretics and expelled from the Empire in the first place, thousands of years ago. But it's only CONCORD that can actually do anything about the Butcher, because they're the only ones that can shut down his cloning centers and bring him to proper justice. They've chosen to do nothing. |

I know, though, that even being a two weeks old capsuleer as you say, I feel more echo in his words than in yours... Forgive me.
I have yet to understand this constant need for capsuleers to affirm themselvses through their single age in the capsule, or their killboard stats, as a necessary and sufficient condition for asserting their right. It has nothing to do with capsuleers. It has everything to do with works. Faith without deeds is worthless. It is lip service. There are many people who claim faith, who claim good, who claim that they will do many things. But until they actually go out and prove their faith and dedication with acts, it is hollow. Which test reveals more of the soul, the test that a man will take to prove his faith, or the test that finds the man who believed his faith already proven? If you know this answer, then you also know which of these challenges bear the greatest penalty for failure.- Missions 5:14
Even if those are deeds done by souless... ghosts ?
I am not sure if I understood correctly, but do you mean that Faith must be proven by capsuleer deeds ? |

No, you don't understand correctly. It should be obvious what it means. It means that words must be backed up by actions. In all things, and at all times. If one makes a promise, that promise must be upheld. If one makes a threat, then they must carry out that threat. If one says that they are faithful, then they must act to prove their faith.
It means, very simply, that service by lips is inferior to service by deeds. It is very easy to say, "I serve God!", but when they do not then go and actually provide service for God, what sincerity do those words have?
Many people have condemned the Butcher, and mourned his victims. Very few of those have stepped up to hunt him down and help rescue what few can be saved. |

Many people have condemned the Butcher, and mourned his victims. Very few of those have stepped up to hunt him down and help rescue what few can be saved. Whatever else might be said, it is folly to suggest that Imperial capsuleers have not been foremost in efforts to curb the excesses of Nauplius. It ought to be notable that their Caldari allies have aided them, frequently. I consider Samira to be chief among his persecutors and I'd advise those with well meaning opinions to consider her words on the worth of opinions compared to deeds.
"You let one of them go, but that's nothing new is it? Every now and then a little victim is allowed to escape; because she smiled, because he's got freckles, because they begged. And that's how you live with yourself. That's how you slaughter millions."

I think there is a... fallacy in what you are trying to imply, Ms Kernher. The fact that you have done deeds to contribute in that particular case may be a proof of Faith, but it does not absolve you from any criticism either.
I think that... shielding oneself behind Faith and using it as an excuse to deflect everything is very much a sign of arrogance. |

There ... seems to be some difference between capsuleers who kill because that's what happens when you blow up a ship, and capsuleers who kill for killing's sake.

Sometimes there is collateral damage and I don't remember ever shooting at another vessel specifically to harm it's crew. It's just an unfortunate part of the bigger picture.
