If I bring 3 characters to the same station will they all have access to each others stuff?
If not, what is the best way to share resources from one character to another on the same account?

you cant log on 3 characters that are on the same account at the same time, just as you cant train skills on all 3 characters at once. however for sharing stuff you would use escrow and make the escrow specific to one of your characters.

If you want your three characters to freely share stuff, you'd need to make a corporation, get all of them into it, then rent an office at every station you wanted to do the sharing at. Then give all of your alts full access and just have them keep their stuff in the corporation hangar rather than their own.

hehe very expensive, unless you work out of only 1 station, but why would you run 3 characters on the same account, if you wanna run three characters buy three accounts, this way you can log em all on at once, and train skills on them all at once, and trade between them easily. the corp idea is good but then some ******* sees a corp with three members and war decs the corp missions

to speed training I built 3 characters. one well rounded for fighting. One for building with high mem and int. The last one is my trader with high char and mem. I see what you mean in the long run about only running one character. I am just used to haveing dif. characters for dif. things.
Escrow I remember now from the playe guide. I was thinking of the forming of the corp idea but escrow may be the way to go early on. Thanks for the great ideas.

But you can only train one of them per account, so this doesn't speed training at all.

It does speed training because the length of time to learn a skill is based on your stats so if you crank up your memory intelligence and perception you will learn the industry skills quicker. You would not want these stats as your highest on a fighter though instead you would want higher perception, willpower to learn fighting skills quicker. So by creating different characters with vastly different stats you can train different/unrelated areas of the game quicker.

Yeah, but the learning skills will, when fully trained (well, the advanced up to four) will give you +9.9 to every stat. That will take a couple months to get up to. So having three different characters isn't all that worth it in the end, says me.

To repeat Vasiliyan again, you cannot train multiple characters on the same account.
If you wanted to speed train three characters at the same time, then you'll need three separate accounts and 3 sets of subscription fees.

Yes, but you will quickly find that to be real effective at anything you will need alot of common skills. All of these common skills would have to be trained on each of the accounts making the total training time much longer. Unless the alts are being used for very specific tasks (ie only for shopping, or only for BP copying) that require very little training, you will actually save the most training time by putting all your effort into a single character. The same attributes that allow you to train for combat will allow you to train for hauling. All of your support skill (electronic and engineering) us the same attributes as your manufacturing, just reversed primary, and in the case of Drones it is the same as Industry.

Your fighter will definitely need high INT to learn the myriad Engineering and Electronics skills that let you buff up that ship half-way decently. Your industrialist will probably need to learn to fly some sort of cargo hauler with high Navigation, Mechanic, some Engineering skills. Your miner will need to learn frigates, possibly cruisers, barges, maybe haulers, definitely lots of Navigation and Engineering and probably Mechanic.
Plus, they're probably all learning the Learning skills, heh.
It turns out that the best combo is INT, PER, Wil, Mem, Cha, more or less in that order, and all professions require some basic skills to be learned, regardless of what to do. Of what's left, the time savings for having different attributes is probably offset by the time lost logging on and off all the time.
