I was going to recommend wh space. It pretty much bypasses the whole anti roam intle BS that is blue null, but it seems like you don't like that either.
I don't want your stuff, but honestly, find something you like to do in the game or leave/take a break. Paying to be angry is kind of silly. Your whole long post is mostly vinigar. Find some honey.
All you guys.... everyone likes to win. I've been reading this forum coming up on a decade and I've never ever seen anyone complain that they don't lose often enough. That being said, we all go out and do the best we can with what we have. If you're looking to log in and have equal/balanced fights over and over night after night - you're kind of..... you know..... crazy. It's unrealistic. I'll give you that over the years risk aversion has been on the rise and that kind of sux, but it's still the only game in town where you actually risk stuff you can't get back - that's why we're here.
My advice - keep looking for the good fights and remember them fondly. Try not to focus on the bad stuff. If there's too much bad and it drowns out the good.... maybe put eve down for a bit or move to whatever space you're not currently in and give that a go. |

I agree with you on that. The trend in wh space to bigger has bothered me for some time. There are some changes in the works that will further the large wh corps. Long story short, they can no longer support their numbers w/ the current wh mechanics so they are lobbying to get free bonus stuff for farming their statics. It will allow them to probably add another 100 guys to their numbers.
The small gang road warrior aspect of wh space is being blotted out by a few large corps. I will compliment 2 large wh groups (both of which have kicked my wh teeth in at various points over the years) for doing it right. SYJ just plain outgrew wh space. They moved to LS and I think to null now. They liked their group, realized wh space couldn't support what they wanted to do, so they went where they needed to go. The other is Hard Knocks. They got too big for home escallations to feed their numbers. They took a different approach. From what I hear they have banned pve in HK proper and set up alt bear corps in other wh to support their pvp. On one hand they are kind of creating a blue haze of affiliated wh, but on the other, they aren't trying to change wh space to fit their needs - they are adapting as needed to stay there.
It sux that you got stomped as you say. They came and you held the line so that batphoned, steam rolled you and left. It's a cruel game, but we both know that. Batphoning as the agressor who bit off more than they could chew isn't the way I would go, but obviously it wasn't me.
I hope you go with
"Rebuilding is fun!!!?!!?!"
For the record, I'm not arguing with you. I get what you're saying and recommending a break (go see how crappy the other games are). Over the years I've found it's the folks you know and the stuff you do w/ them that make the game pretty awesome. Not so much the actual thing your do, but more the process - if that makes any sense. |

Hence giving very bad intel that there is a bubble on the gate. everyone warps then the enemy fleet wrecks you. I get that, it goes with the territory, I am not talking 100m plus ships here, I am thinking more fun fleets, t1 cruisers down. When I was in a corp we whelped fleets, it's just fun to go out and pvp and not take it too seriously, but in massive fleets the fun is less (I think) and if your not in a corp then I am unaware of smaller fleets. i doing pvp mostly in t1 frigs, and i take it seriously -.- small gang is the best in my opinion. like soloing, but its time consuming. its about an hour to scout around hunting, watching the activities around, and find a possible good fight... its good when you have time and mood for it. the spectre has a subchannel or what, called frigate fun, or frigs for life... i dont recall.. join to there. |

meh, it's not so cruel when you go to low-sec and base in an NPC station, undock for small-gang on demand and dock up to have a drink and talk smack whenever there's a 50-man blob lumbering through. I find it hard to sympathize with someone complaining about not getting small-gang action while basing from a large, lawless hole with high income potential, few (if any) protective mechanics and using cap ships for PvE. that's just begging to get roflstomped. it's like jumping in front of traffic for a laugh then trying to sue the driver that eventually hits you. |

I don't see what's stopping all you solo/small gangers from fighting each other. Instead of taking your gang 50 jumps through sov null, just contact another small gang group, pick a system and ram your ships into each other all night long. |

DaRiKavus wrote:Small gang PVP is not dead but due to the current meta in Eve very difficult to find anything to actually engage without getting ganked/hot-dropped or just plain blue balled (until the blob arrives)
IMHO this game has moved from a fun PVP game that catered for the small gang/solo pilots, more towards big fleets of no-skill retards smack talking you in local because they have "friends" and where able to ROFLSTOMP your entire fleet with triple your numbers. Try and kite, the entire fleet hugs the gate and only engages when logi is on grid and you cant kill anything. Dont even bother brawling...you will die in a fire. Try solo and most people run....until they can blob the f**k out of you. Try small gang...bring in the neut geddons and falcons for a 5 man Hac/T1 cruiser gang.
I am sure all the stories about the amazing small gang action out there will come streaming in now, along with some flaming of my post.
And no you cant have my stuff. I feel the only thing that changed is that FW lowsec kicked off and attracted all the bigger pirate groups who need someone smaller to bully.
So chances to get blobbed went up a lot.

Solo and Small Gang PvP is alive an well. I do that very thing just about every night that I log into EVE. You just have to put some effort into choosing your ships, fits, tactics, not be afraid to die, and then understand that you are going to get blobbed.
Just the other night me and 2 corp mates went 2-systems from our home system with a 2 Comets and a Vagabond and basically cleaned out a whole system of 15+ war targets. What more could you ask for! |

Try the 'MicroGang Help' ingame channel. It's filled with solo, micro and small scale pvplers who know whats up and will sometimes take people on roam with them.
