I've always used eve-kill because of the concise easy to reference layout.
But it's glitchy, laggy, and likes to post all my losses while ignoring my kills (and I have submitted my API).
Which do you prefer?
And would you say any one is more suited to a solo PvPer for any reason?

zKill is the best for solo. The EK layout hides too much data and you have to click something for each piece; colossal time waste, and doubly so when you forget a piece of data and have to re-trace your clickery to get it again.
F. That.
zKill loads up the main page with data, and since it's geared towards presenting recent activity it's all useful intel too. I'm never more than one click from knowing everything I want to know. |

I use Zkill mainly, Even though Eve-Kills tends to give more information and such.
**** Battleclinc, used to use it a lot. Now it's a **** show with the new update they had.

zKill looks better on my eyes. That's it really. Eve-kill makes my eyes water.

zkillboard because it's easy to read, clear fonts, large enough typefaces, good contrasts and a general lack of blinking flashing stuff in my face.
The day i discovered zkillboard, I switched immediately. Such a pity it was down for quite some hours yesterday. We need to donate more hamsters to their cause.

Battleclinic because their points system is better for solo and you can copy/paste a name directly into the url from local.
Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec.

Battleclinic is currently dead. A new layout was released, the layout is terrible, admins going *HTFU, DWI*. There might be a resurgence at some point, but currently it's not usable.
Between eve-kill and zkill, eve-kill hands you lists of involved parties sorted by ships, corps, alliances. zKill does everything else.

I use zkill but I admit I really wish they would incorporate some battleclinc features like a reasonable points system simple easy icons that at a glance tell you something meaningful about the person (I.e. The low sec roamer tag on this character) and the recent associates list is a great idea too. I hope zkill gets some of those features or they actually make battleclinc have a reasonable interface and API grab at some point. |
