I tried running the game on the test server following the instructions from the wiki. Everything is patched up, I launch the Launcher with the Singularity flag, log in, press Play, the Launcher says it is launching, but after 10-15 seconds it reverts back to "Play" state without launching the actual game. I tried running the repair tool with the singularity option, but that didn't solve the problem either. There are no errors or anything - the game just doesn't start. Anything I can do to to try fixing this issue? |

I have had the same issues with the launcher as well. Game claims to launch but no game window. I get the EVE game process in task manager, but there is no window for the game. Just reverts to play button with ghost process in the background. |

This would probably mean that the EVE client itself is broken and not the launcher. Could you please run logserver and send us the log of such a failed start through a bug report.

I filed a bug report on that one, including the log file. As I experience the same issues |

Same ISSUE, I have reported the Bug including the Log file.
Singularity exefile.exe failed to launch the GUI, it starts and hangs. It can be seen in the task-manager. |

Xanics, Buloak Boragon: Thank you for your bug reports! I assume this started breaking for you last week on Singularity and not before? It looks like this one is unrelated to the original problem and is only happening on Win XP. I created an internal defect for this.

I had a similar issue, might be related. The launcher was stuck with gray "play" button and at the bottom it said Downloading updates, but was not downloading. In my case, the Sisi client folder was not in the default location on drive C. In the launcher settings, under Download, I changed the Shared cache location to match my client location ( D:\sisi) and reloaded the launcher. It started downloading the update and worked perfectly after this. |
