If not, do something else, why I love EVE for 11 years now! Unless they make some changes to their plan it won't be difficult to get SOV. Loads of it might become freely available when whole coalitions move into Low Sec and NPC Null Sec and control moons from there.

.
SOV is stagnant because Low Sec is not the next step from High Sec and a viable place to grow alliances to the point they can challenge Null alliances.

It's basically because people in other online games with areas of control suck. The good players are all here in Eve.
I find that without a good mob to provide one for them, most people would have no mentality at all.

Vince Draken the leader of a coalition that exists to destroy us, would love to take over all of nullsec (or at least destroy us, which might be easier or harder depending on how you look at it). Thus it's fairly obvious that he can'tis about to with this seventh or such invasion attempt to end our 0.0 nightmare.
CFC is happy with what it has. A bit more is ok perhaps, but nothing like "all of nullsec".

All the small powers are just that. Small. I have not heard of a small power that became a conquerer of null sec. An example would be nice, not really familiar with null sec history. I know of three small alliances who have grabbed some SOV but I don't want to draw attention to them. Squish. Hmm, Fweddit?
Is this somewhere in a corner of Cobalt Edge or at the back of Dronelands or some horrible spot?

These days, BoB's old Operation Clockwork would be more appropriately titled Operation Make Every Player In Your Alliance Quit Eve Forever After Three Months. |

Didn't you think that all these 'independent alliances' could be ruled by alts of one person?

Serene Repose wrote:OH man. It's so cool, in a chicken-sh*t kinda way. The TWO BIG ALLIANCES HAVE A TREATY! Shhhh...."we" don't want just anybody to know this. (People may start thinking "player-generated content" = rigging the game!)I KNOW, RIGHT?! They essentially agreed not to attack each other. This was to "secure revenue." That's a fancy way of saying, "If I'm fighting to defend what I have, it costs money, and while I'm fighting I can't make money. So, let's just not fight." So, this mythological EVE where PVP reigns supreme and carebears suck? Well. Shhhh....don't tell anybody. (The two HUGEST PVP outfits agreed to carebear with each other!)I KNOW, RIGHT?! They're the huge stagnant glob on the map. ONE of these alliances is now attacking a very small alliance in what is known as the more undesirable, and profitless section of null sec - because they're bored and want some "gudfights"! (They must be tired of monopolizing the one ore most needed to build advanced items in this "economy"!)I KNOW, RIGHT?! *Wonders silently to herself who in this pixelated world would possibly not support the SoV change this summer...*
the blocs attack each other, just not a massive war to gain sov, they are free to attack each others pilots. The division of the 2 blocs is ideals and such, if they did unite, they would only have to worry about people from empire trying to gain space which is pretty much how it is now. having been in null in a renter corp and defending someone elses space everyday and not seeing any combat aswell as not being able to do any activities I want, I left and only observe the ******** politics of people that think they have real power in a galaxy that doesn't exist.
