Hi everyone I am a bit new when it comes to ratting and of course ship builds and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind providing some input. As the title says, I'm looking to do some ratting in Low-sec, generally .2-.4.
Right now my "all-around" build is;
High -
3x Dual Afocal Light Maser 1
1x Small "Knave" Energy Drain
Med -
Cold-Gas 1 Arcjet Thrusters
Fixed Parallel Link Capacitor
Low -
Small Automated 1 Carapace Restoration
N-Type Thermic Membrane
N-Type Reactive Membrane
N-Type Magnetic Membrance
I was also looking at the Tristan and its viable builds for this task but I would like to see if this particular Punisher build was applicable.

I believe, that even with stacking you will do better with 3 EANI's or 2 EAN1's and a damage control. You get extra EM resists that way too, not sure what all the penalties are though.

An "all around" build for NPCing isn't the way to do it.
Decide what rats you want to kill, and then fit two primary damage hardeners, and one secondary damage hardener. IE, for guristas, two kinetic and a thermal, or for Sansha two EM and a thermal.
There's no reason to tank for damage that isn't being dealt to you.
Snce it's a punisher, you should NPC versus Sansha or Blood Raiders, you'll do more damage to them than to others.

Slight correction here:
For Sanshas and Blood Raiders, make sure you use two thermal and one EM, not the other way around. For armor tanking, you already have very high EM resist.
